[2.6] Zombie summoner - 6 Big Zombies

Using & loving this build with United in dreams and Mon'tregul's. Added 2 flame golems in head for the 2+ with two primordial mights. The golems made a huge difference for me.

get Enlighten Level 3 and you can run Hatred+Haste without spending passive points

Question: Should I run HASTE/VITALITY/CLARITY, or VITALITY/CLARITY/tempchains(blasphemy) ??????????

This is the last thing I need to know thank you guys i love this build.

EDIT: i run SRS not ball lightning/curse on hit.. I find it way better am I wrong?

im not sure if im reading the life tree right, but with the two spots you put down for violent dead, neither of them have enough int in radius to activate it (or at the very least you intentionally didn't put enough int near them for them to activate). Is that correct?

edit:nvm i get it, and it's an awesome change lol

Just curious, any reason why you don't put Raise Spectre in the helm to make use of the minion life there already? I don't see why we need blood magic since spectre uses less mana then zombies anyways. Reason being is that the offerings don' seem to get much from the +2 minion and since i's also a 2-link, it fits nicely wherever Raise Spectre - Blood Magic was.

Also, one other question, assuming you use the setup in the helm as I mentioned above, would it now be worth it to throw in Animate Guardian in the last slot?

The blood magic isn't to cast the spectre, it's so that the spectre has blood magic and keeps casting its frenzy effect constantly. Try it without the blood magic gem, you'll get less casts.

It should be ok to link it to stone golem and minion life too though, but I am going to fix links and such soon. I've been putting off more work on the build due to playing a SRS character but I'm gonna flesh out some more of the guide soon

As for are zombies guardian viable .. yes they are. my ci build does sub 2 min hydra/chimera (no poison gem) 15 second phoenix and 5 second minotuar.

the build should also be uber viable.

as for shaper ... maybe .. but only if you can recast your entire pool of zombies instantly.. because after running shaper last night .. there is no way to make them survive his 2nd phase unless you are ultra lucky and there is no way you will handle his third phase simply because you will spend too much time dodging his shit (which your zombies cant do).


I honestly dont think the zombie build will be shaper viable ( ie you can do shaper painlessly and on a budget) unless serious changes in how much damage his attacks do to minions are made.

so if you want a shaper farmer. this is probably not the build to do it with.. if you wana run guardians.. it is very much possible and you can get to a point where it is trivial

the shaper is just mechanically a poorly designed boss

yeah as i wrote - Empower 3+ is of course better, but its also expensive and what would you use instead of Added Fire if you don't have Empower?
