got this little gem for 50c, had to put str on it just so I can make sure my str is above my dex for Coil but it was a nice little upgrade from astra. Maybe if I grow some balls I'll slam it but for now this makes me pretty damm happy. I lose some base int but it will have some nice scaling.

looks good for 50 c.

You can also get % increase attributes on shaped amulet, but these are pretty rare and expensive. I scanned the market for some weeks to get pretty decent ones for fair prices.

They are pretty sick and give me about 18 to 20 % more dmg than a astramentis on my standard char.

The best leveling armor is in the Leveling Guide:

Armor for mapping is in the Gear section. Unless you are going with Kaom's Heart, it MUST have high Int.
Hurray! 40/40 challenges done without buying anything, in just over 1 month of playing in this league. This build can do everything. Helped a bunch of people with the 'dodge Hydra turrets' challenge too.

If anybody needs help or advise with any challenges - feel free to ask. Nothing was particularly hard in this league. Even the grinds were not bad once I discovered that you can cross-feed shaper/elder/guardian maps to each other without actually losing the influence or the guardians.

The only thing I didn't finish was the T15 Shaper Orb. Screw that retarded thing! And it's not a part of any challenge anyway.

can you elaborate on this?

ps. killed shaper for the first time since i started playing in 3.0 so my goal for this league is done, boiled down to knowing how fight go rather than pure damage requirements

can you elaborate on this?

When you kill an Elder Guardian without the owner of the map being present, it drops no loot, but it counts for the challenges. And the Guardian does not disappear from the map owner's Atlas. One person can feed the (lootless) Guardian kills to others indefinitely, just for the kill count.

Same thing with the Elder/Shaper influence: if the boss dies when the map owner is not in the zone, the influence on his Atlas doesn't change.

How to do the Guardians and Influence challenges 'quickly':

1. Get a partner. If you have an alt account - even easier, only half the work for you.

2. Do Shaper influenced maps until the Elder influence appears and the Shaper starts influencing adjacent maps. Then spread the Elder influence by doing the adjacent Shaper influenced maps, until the Elder and his guardians spawn. Spread the Elder influence outwards, to as many easy/cheap yellow/white maps as possible. You will need to do a lot of them, so make it easier for yourself.

If you are doing this with a partner, you do this part separately, each do his own maps until you both have the Elder/Guardians up. If you are doing this with your own alt, do this on the alt's Atlas (the alt starts the map, zones in and AFKs while you finish the map) until the alt has the Elder/Guardians up.

3. Pick your favorite Guardian (for this build, the Purifier is the easiest one by far). Look where your alt/partner has that Guardian. Give him that map. He needs to open it for you in his hideout. You enter that map via his hideout, run to the boss and kill the Guardian. Your alt/partner must stay out. You will get +1 guadian kill.

4. Have your alt/partner run that map for you again and again. The arenas will be random, so you will quickly find that Guardian in all of his arenas. Do the other Guardians a few times too, until you find all of their arenas for that challenge.

If you are doing this with your alt, you don't need to do anything other than getting a lot of cheap/easy maps. If you have a real partner then you cross-feed: he runs his Guardian maps for you, you run your Guardian maps for him, and you kill each other's stuff at the same time.

This can also be done the split-rotation style (similarly to the Atziri grind): 6 people who have the Guardians up open a Guardian map each, run to the boss, pop a portal and zone out. The other 5 people go in and kill the Guardian. And then do it for all 6 in the group, the owner of the map staying out each time. That way everybody gets +5 Guardian kills per round. Although finding such a group can be difficult.

After you are done with 100 Guardians, finish the rest of the Influenced Maps grind by running the fastest white maps for each other (or just your alt running them for you). As long as the owner of the map is not inside when the boss dies, the influence on his Atlas won't change.

Finding a reliable partner (or a group doing this split-Atziri-rotation style) is probably harder than just leveling an alt on a free account. You can run two PoE clients on the same machine and rush an alt thru the Acts. Any alt that has finished the storyline and has access to maps will do. All it needs to do is run the maps for you, and be in the zone when you kill the boss when you need to spread the Elder/Shaper influence.

Whatever is your favorite fast and easy map (e.g. Beach, Iceberg, etc) - once you have it under the Elder influence, the rest is just a matter of running it over and over again via your alt's hideout, go straight to the boss and kill it. Once you are done with the Elder, get the Shaper on it and do that.

To preserve your sanity, do like 10-20 runs at a time between other things. That's why an alt account is good - you can do these grinds entirely on your own schedule. The whole thing is done on his Atlas, you are free to do whatever you want on yours.

Hi Kelvynn

Gz to 40 this leage.
For me this leage is a verry bad leage. Uncount maps are gone many i must allways do the map without leaving it if i die the map is gone.

So i dont get the 36 this leage because of luck (the 2 socket challange is a bad choke) the shaper elder thing you wrote is a pain (i dont like to play with a partner because of not so much time to play and locking for common time is hard).

If the fucking failure that exists since harbinger, but in that leage only in harbinger maps, isnt fixed from ggg and it seems they have no idea why it happens or its a really big programming thing for only a few builds.

I like this build really and its my favorite build but with the incompetence of ggg fixing failures in the game and not allways bring new contend with more failures i will stop playing this build because of extremly frustrating experience.

i have lost so many loot maps and guardians that its not negligible as in harbinger anymore.

that i reach lvl 93 with not so much playtime shows how good the build can work. But the downsize is to big.

Hey guys,

I have a question. Would * The Beast Fur Shawl Vaal Regalia * be good for this build?
40% extra spell damage + 40% increased energy shield recovery rate seems to more then make up for 5% extra damage taken? Also the armour has around 450 ES if not a little more, so it's not like you're losing much there. Just losing around 50 intelligence or so. I don't know, it just sounds good to me.

Trust me, considering all of ours % increase attributes, you will lose much more than just 50 int.
Secondly, 40% increase spell damage is so minor that you don't even notice. Because "increase" is additive bonus, and therefore the more additive bonuses you have, the less each additional bonus give you in contrast.
Generally with this build we have about 650% increases total, so that 40% will get you 790% damage, instead of 750%, which is only 5% total increase in DPS.

Not only that, intellegence give us flat damage for our whispering ice, which much more important that lame "increase".

I mean, sure, you can use it, not the abysmal choice. But it will not be better, that's for sure.
I am really frustrated last 2 days

Lost over 8 shaped vaults and more then 20 other maps with the instance crash.
If i have nasty mods and die the map ist lost. But now there also instance crashs with
breaches or abyss monster.

So i give up the challenges cause its not really funny and there is no hope that ggg will fix this. so i think it will be also in the next leage.

It was a funny time with this build and thanks for the great build guide and the really good support all the last leages.

I will miss this build, but its not playable for me anymore with this crashes.

thanks a lot kelvynn.
