[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri

Need some suggestion / insight

1) What specter to run for high end map T14 - T15 with those terrible mod and also have good clear speed between
a. 2 solar guardian + 2 TV
b. 2 TV + 2 Wickeman
c. 4 TV

For a. --> I would need helm with burning dmg + minion dmg
For b. --> I can used +2 / +3 minion lv helm for animate guardian
For c. --> Same with 2


2) How can specter survive those high elemental dmg like piety in Malformation / Hydra / Phoenix?
Currently I'm running essence worm + purity of element for this and used Commander of Darkness

3) Commander of Darkness VS Spirit Eater
I'm not sure which to run at the moment. If I used Cmd. of Darkness - I would need essence worm

4) Is it better to used abyss jewel or normal jewel?

5) What weapon to use, i'm torn between
a. the scourge + shield
b. the scourge + advancing fortress
c. advancing fortress + shield

6) Stone of Lazwhar vs the anvil ?

It's not about spectres, It's just stats with main attack.
Have anyone tried Void Constructs instead of Wicker Men? They seem to have a Righteous Fire aura displayed the same way a player's works - with a huge flaming circle around them.

You don't need essence worm for CoD. Just good socketed rare ring is good and place clarity there.

You are indeed got my point wrong.
First of all, all i counted here was for golems in the first place, none of this was counted for spectres (or else i would count soul weaver 100% increase damage for spectres too, but obviously, it don't applied to flame golems).
It's just the nature of calculation of DPS increase is different for clayshaper and scourge. Clayshaper don't give us increases in stats, just give us additional golems, it's equivalent to multiplicative modificator, so it's easy to calculate dps increase. 4/3=1.33. 133%, means 33% overall damage increase from flame golems as a group.
In case of scourge, that modificator is additive, that's why i need to know estimated level of other additive modificators, but i remind you that those calculations still about flame golems and not anything else.
My point about "if you forget about spectre existence", maybe i should have use different wording. "If we disregard spectres existence" would be more on point here, then yeah, clayshaper will be better than scourge for about 10%, which isn't even that much, but then we have a main point...

And the main point is - we don't even need flame golems damage. Flame golems decimate white and blue packs anyway with their aoe, and it is their only purpose. The only thing when you need damage is the boss, and on boss you can disregard flame golems existence entirely, cause they are way WAY lower in damage if compared to our burning spectres.

So now we get our conclusion, scourge not only buff ALL of ours minions (instead of only flame golem parts that don't even need this), but also not really that much worse even if we disregard our main damage dealers, which is burning spectres.

It's still awesome for boss kills, as long as you aren't referring to the crazy Necro Aeigis setup we could use in 3.0.

The challenge now is in map clear speed. If you're partying with folks that have the clear speed already, you're fine. Alternatively you can:
- run a mix of TVs / SGs
- run 4 TVs and add in flame golems and primordial jewels for clearspeed
- swap TV spectres for Solar Guards

I've tried the first and third options, and for what I tend to concentrate on, I settled on the last option.

I'm now playing a high-DPS and clearspeed/MF variant of this build - and wow! It's outperforming my 6-link, Chin Sol Ice Shot Raider even though I'm running an effective 4-link.

By far the best build I've tried this league.

I saw some elder helms with "socketed gems deal 30% MORE elemental damage" can anyone confirm this will work with spectres/golems? because it will be really OP when chaining with "minion damage" + "burning damage".

If you socket a minion skill in the helm, then linked gems in support of the minion skill that directly cause/support elemental damage will benefit from the more multiplier.

Since minion damage, raise spectre/summon golem/etc., do not directly cause elemental damage - they enhance minion damage overall or raise minions - these gems will not benefit; however, something like Added Fire Damage Support will.

man,this is hard to swallow..."flame golem gem" counts as a "summon" skill which in no way "deals" elemental damage, yet the flame golem itself deals pure elmental damage and got 0% benefit from "socketed gem deal 30% more elemetnal damage", fk GGG with this kind of layers upon layers of BS.

So if I socketed "elmental weakness" or "burning damage" in the helm do I automatically gets 30% more elemental damage??? or do I need to have a skill gem like fireBall that needs to do DIRECTE elemental hit to benefit from it?
