" if you multimod it, you will be able to craft dot and blood magic. i dont think it's worth it though, since it has a bad mod. i'd just remove dot and replace it with blood magic. or try to annul it. i guess it depends on how much spare currency you have and what other shit you need. multi-modded sceptre isn't that important. " Helmet you should buy one with conc and burning damage, it's not too expensive and a good starter. For sceptre : Buy shaped base ilvl 80 (about 60-100 chaos) Scour to normal Trasnmute to magic Alt spam until you get ele focus + ele damage (ideally only ele focus, ele focus affix has 2 lines) If you have only ele focus + ele damage, regal, if it's a good roll, multi craft. If you're poor just craft blood magic on ele focus and whatever. Also works if you have ele focus and a good roll (like burning damage) In case I hit melee splash only, I augment it in case I hit ele focus too, it's not a big investment If you have a magic sceptre you don't like, scour and restart Ideal process for good sceptre : Alt spam until ele focus + ele damage (they're always together) Regal to get a good roll Multi craft Craft blood magic Craft another good roll Ideal process for OP sceptre : Alt/augment spam until ele focus and melee splash affixes Regal for a good roll Multi craft Last edited by Shuggananas#4641 on Jun 14, 2018, 4:11:38 AM

If you have more currency to burn, then you can do some other stuff: - if all affixes are good after the regal, and you don't mind spending 2ex, then it's a good idea to multi-mod it - if you get EF and a bad mod, then you can try to annul the bad mod; and if you regal and get a bad mod, you can try to annul that as well These are the affixes you are looking for, in order of priority: - elemental focus - blood magic (crafted only) - attack speed (it acts as an AS multiplier when on a weapon) - faster attacks (because it comes with attack speed) - burning damage (can only be rolled) - fire damage (can be rolled and crafted) - damage over time (crafted only) - melee splash (because it comes with area damage; however, area damage doesn't affect scorching ray, so it's not as good as other damage types) Helmet: I have to preface this by saying that crafting your own helmet is EXTREMELY risky. That's because horror essences are expensive. Getting bad rng with this craft can be costly, and ruin you. Like, you could potentially spend 10-20 ex and get nothing in return. The league before last, i crafted over a dozen of these helmets and, overall, it was very profitable. BUT, i had a few bad streaks, and had to spend around sixty essences per helmet, a few times. But i also gotten a few for under ten. I don't know the actual odds but, from my experience, it seems to be around 1 in 20. Something worth mentioning is that sometimes you will get conc effect. You have two options here. Essence crafted helmets with conc effect go for around 2 ex. So you could resell and try to craft another one, or settle and use it yourself, if you don't mind the aoe loss. I've seen people craft over it, so i thought i'd mention it. Crafting: 1. you want an ilv 82-84, high armour, elder base. eternal burgonet and royal burgonet are the best bases 2. spam essence of horror until you get conc effect or burning damage; ideally you want burning damage If you also hit a good suffix, and the item has an open prefix, then you could try to mastercraft it. That's only if the item has burning damage, since Conc effect is a prefix. What you do is: 1. craft "suffixes cannot be changed" (2ex) 2. scour 3. ex slam twice 4. repeat if needed That's how most people get burning + conc + horror. | |

Hello everyone, the build is great so far but I think that I've hit a wall. After doing all tier 15 maps easily I tried to do phoenix and... It ended in the worst possible way, I couldn't damage him at all, I had EE up, vaal RF, normal RF and Scorching Ray. All that, loads of kiting, spamming orb of storms to get EE back up and he barely lost any HP. What can I do to get more damage, my PoB said that I have around 90k RF dps. I think it's low, any ideas how to fix it all? (My defence is pretty good imo, 1,5k positive regen, 84% phys reduction all res high but when it comes to offence i see that I lack everything, especially that I wanted to go try Uber Elder this league finally and I fail on guardians) My character is Maxi_RfIdiotMeta. I'll try to link my gear tommorow.

Welp, double annul didn't remove the shit roll so I had to restart my stick
Finally got something decent with lv 16 ele focus (ugh) and 18% attack speed, put blood magic on it so far, think it's good enough to multi-craft ? Also in your guide for crafting it would be nice to tell what master and what level you need for the crafts you recommend (ie elreon 8 for multicraft etc), would help players plan |

" you have an open suffix on your sceptre, craft attack speed My recommendations would be get purity of ice instead of elements (it's very good vs elder) and if you can, get a +2 aura or aoe gems saffels Xoph's heart is a good item as well for boss killing due to the cover in ash mechanic which is a more multiplier If I was you though, I would spend essentially all my currency trying to roll an essence helmet. If you craft one with horror + conc effect or burning, it would be better than what you have right now for bossing since you could opt to skip inc aoe. Oh and vaal the belt :D |

" I had completely forgotten to craft attack speed, thanks man! It Might be time to corrupt some shields then. I'll be on the low side with mana with only 2 of the aura's affected by enlighten, but should be okay for shield charge and orb of storms. I'll most defiantly run purity of ice, it just didn't make much sense right now.
