I've never made a Scourge build before (new to minions in general), and my googling isn't returning much. Still in the leveling process, but I'm curious.. How do you proc the Scourge? Just Orb of Storms? In my head originally I was thinking minions proced it, but I don't think it works like that.
Yes. Orb of Storms is a great way to proc the Scourge, since it currently lasts 13.2 seconds with all the duration nodes we have on the tree (it's not even linked to increased duration, which will make it 17.7s but that's overkill and id rather have faster casting!) It also continually procs elemental equilibrium which is one of the biggest damage boost for the build (we do something like 55% cold dmg, 33% fire dmg, and 12% phys of total dmg). Some people may choose to use ball lightning too (which is fine), but I personally prefer Orb of Storms :).
Another way to proc the Scourge is Shield Charge! Get a tiny bit of lightning damage on it (from a ring) to also proc elemental equilibrium too. You also get fortify as a great bonus~ It's a really fun/active playstyle and I love it!
Edit: And yes, minions don't proc it. ;P I believe the whole idea behind this unique was to make it more active for summoners or opens up options for other builds.

Have another question:
I buff myself with Clarity/Hatred right now.. and when i switch belts both auras turn off, is that normal ? And do you actually see a buff for rampage ? Because i don't and so i don't know if it as active or not .
Another question: Since i am mostly a solo player i don't think i need generosity, do i ? Is there anything else i could take instead ?
If your auras are turning off when you switch belts it's because the belt is giving you the stats required for the auras or for the item in which you have socketed them.
There is no buff icon for rampage, but you do see the rampage counter, so that should be enough to tell you.
As for generosity, it's there to buff your SRS, not just your party members, so even if you are solo, it's definitely something you want to use as it gives your Hatred a 39% increased effect.
I'm loving the build design! I really love the item Scourge. My only thing that is concerning me is the amazing gems and gear. Can you do a video of like a t12 for us poor folk that does without the +1 belly and lvl 4 empower?
I'm not Huy but I've done guardians with this gear:
The rest are all the same uniques he's using. No level 21 gems, no level 4 empower. For mapping it's definitely super fast, you can put in vaal clarity (like I do) if you don't want to spam flasks too often.

Rampage is a streak-like mechanic. To keep it up you need to kill things without stopping for more than a couple of seconds between each kill. It's not something you should care about while levelling, leave that for when you reach maps and a decent clear speed.
is this build stronger then the srs baron (+ 3 fire gem) blood magic build?

Yes :) (sorry if not specific but it's about 266k dps per srs on max potential so that's 5.3m dps :X). I don't know how far +3 fire gem Staff version goes ><

Sorry i read the part you said before posting but i was meaning the charity shield with additional accuracy support in replace of another gem. what would the dps be like or is it a fail. was just a question
