" It could be because a particular file needed changed in a packaged file like a dat. So to do a small change requires you to download the entire packed content instead of the actual file that was changed? Guessing.. or.. it has something to do with the new expansion :P |

I'm using standalone client, not steam and it's only 76mb for the new patch though. Just informing, might be issue with steam client.
