I paid for the seeker support but don't fucking count my support on this stupid patch. Holy shit u fucked up so badly sort of 40% of the most played builds, and i'm not even talking about meta builds LOL.
Whats the fucking purpose of going after spectre/golem if my summons can't kill after i'm dead? its just slow clear now, FFS.

Passive skills which previously granted increased Melee Physical Damage while holding a Shield now grant increased Physical Attack Damage while holding a Shield (it is no longer restricted to Melee).
Still no changes to traps and more importantly to the lackluster Saboteur ascendancy class.
XP after level 95 nerfed, a change catering to 0.001% of your player base if at all. Even worse is the wording of the original post regarding the nerf mentioning "overwhelming feedback" to make that change...suuure!
I'm very happy I didn't splash the cash yet on the new supporter packs.
This is about how I feel. This character I've had for the last 400+ hours, and she has managed to make it to level 71. Even after fully clearing 2 maps last night, not even a single level. Doing several hours of end game content = not enough to get even 1 level. I'm not even in the 80's yet, and you want to nerf people getting to 100...cuz...why?? As above poster stated, no reason why.
If "some" people can break down the game, and find a method to get from 1 to 100 quickly, why is that a problem? Not every person who plays the game is a speed running freak who only wants to get to max level ASAP. This is just one of the many, many things I hate about this patch.

Opinions from players like you are - I am really sorry to say - worthless and should not be taken into consideration when it comes to balancing. You probably belong to the casuals of the lower tier of casuals of this game, since you are the first person I read about that needs 400 hours to get level 70+. That's just so hilarious, I am sorry to say.

71 lvl = 15 hours, weekend gaming. And i'm new player that playing just for 2-3 weeks..
Are you trying your "self only agility" build with 600 hp at act 10? And every monster 1shot you and you have delevel?
My concerns are continuosly being buried by people who have $0 - $50 supporter packs and highest characters at level 90 so i will have to repost. I WANT AN ANSWER GGG.
chris why do you keep nerfing things? do you just want us to play vanilla sunder builds for the rest of our lives? seems like such a waste considering how much potential the game has for more creative builds. CAN WE HAVE CAST ON CRIT BACK ALREADY? why does it matter if certain builds are OP in a game that is mostly just gonna be played as single player or co-op anyway?? It's not like PVP is a real thing, nobody cares!
Meanwhile we still have builds like traps and mine builds running rampant and one shotting end-game content like atziri, shaper, and uber izario. how is this fair??? i've been supporting this game since closed beta (look at my supporter packs) and i only end up playing less and less patch after patch simply because there just aren't enough fun builds for me to try anymore
why???? back then when i played HC i would roll 10-15 builds each league. now i can barely justifying rerolling more than 1 character because nothing interests me anymore. your NEW content is made obsolete becausee you're changing and forcing the meta too much. you guys need to relax on the nerfing. this game should allow players the freedom to play and create what they want. PLUS, most of these things being nerfed are mostly high-end stuff that majority of players won't be able to achieve anyway, or takes a lot of time/currency investment in order to achieve. I understand nerfing broken and cheap builds but nerfing items like acuity or old builds like CoC just doesnt make any sense to me when there are builds that currently exist that take low currency and time investment to achieve power levels even higher than old CoC (eg. GC mines).
im sorry but if this continues i dont think i can continue to support this game. I am at a point where i am starting to regret the thousands of dollars $$$ i've thrown at you guys because the game just isnt as fun anymore.
too many people are OK with the game nerfing everything to shit. there is almost no build diversity anymore. and this isnt even about playing the most META OP builds. the problem is there are NOT ENOUGH META BUILDS TO PLAY. I can easily count at least half the skill gems in this game aren't even being used, what a waste of resources.
and for the record, i dont give a fuck about the exp nerf. level 100 should never be easy to achieve to begin with (like diablo 2 for example). but the problem is again with GGG. they did not properly manage this problem in the beginning. they allowed getting 100 to become easy with the power creep and fast clearing meta they introduced, whether intentional or not. they should've been regulating the exp to 100 a lot sooner and in a much better manner. now they're getting shit for it from the casuals because everyone got too comfortable with the fact that level 100 is a possibility for most people if they put enough time into it. THIS IS GGG'S FAULT. but i dont give a fuck, this is the least of my concerns.
My main concern is the fact that they continuously nerf things, regular/force the meta, and pidgeonhole the player base into playing the skills they want people to play for that patch/league. they nerf so much shit but don't buff enough to balance out the nerfs. why do this when the game was designed to offer the players to create their own build and play the way they want?? why can't i go back and revisit builds i've played 2,3, or even 4 leagues ago? why must things be made constantly obsolete ?
instead of nerfing things they think are overpowered or too prominently played during the last league/update, they should just buff everything else that is currently underpowered/unerplayed so more players are incentivized to try them out and create builds with them. i dont see myself rolling more than 1 build this league, and probably won't last more than 2 weeks before i go back to playing other games. what a shame, especially with the new end-game content too.
I must say that i agree with most of what you say and i would like to add few things.
I understand GGG you wanted to approach more people into this game and you have done it. Get them now into the complexity we all loved back in the day from this game. We are not a small playerbase anymore so get them on what we were introduced back in the day. Complexity and fun builds we wanted to revisit again and again.
PoE was all about complexity. You people at GGG you have to take a breath and relax a bit with the nerfs.
You see something as cheap defense mechanism you nerf it to ground, you see something as a rediculously OP build you nerf it to the ground. Nerf Nerf and there is nothing left. Stop nerfing everything and just create more ways to get that same result.
For me all it started with AA nerf and EB change. That gem was giving you great defense and you had to build around it for the mana degen. EB with the cost of mana reserve and Discipline could give you great mana pool and mana regen. It was a really cheap defense mechanism no doubt especially when Mana Shield (MoM) came out but you instead of decreasing the values you took away complexity and replaced it with blant no brain changes and values. Now you dont think you just pick up nodes and auras. Then ascendancy classes came and limited complexity of builds and build variations. You cant do an archer Duelist anymore and its something i just can think of.
After the ES and CI nerf (which i get it i was needed but not that butchered) its clear that you just nerf without bringing alternatives. CI is suppose to have more ES than a non CI character its the only def mechanism it has. Bring back those nodes behind it and now with VP changes which i really welcome, give es players more ways to get Faster start of energy shield recharge. Then make Zealots Oath to have a penalty of X amount of Faster start of energy shield or the amount of energy shield regen.
Make MoM work while on low life by spending es while on low life. Low life real defense is only ES and its not a CI. Make EB the way it was. Since the so much ES nerfs i dont think it would be any problem.
Bring back CoC or at least unerf it a bit.. I always loved battle mages and CoC was one of the ways you could accomplish that efficiently with rediculus builds. If you want to nerf it, then make it wider. You wanted to spread the same philosophy to cast on melee kill which makes it completely useless against bosses comparing it with CoC. Spread that philosophy more and give us more options to get a cast. Like cast when shock, ignite, chill/freeze, poison, bleed or limit it on melee shock, ignite etc. Make all bosses in game to be able to get ailments from non crit sources aswell with decent duration and make builds worth investing. Make them more resistant on elements but make them at least possible to get ailments from not crit sources. I was playing a Brain Rattler build in Harbinger with 65% chance to shock and couldnt shock shaper but a crit build can and for a good amount of duration. Bring in line non crit builds with crit builds while worth investing.
This way you will give us more options of free casts by allowing us to apply ailments even on end game bosses by using a skill of our preference by letting the meta open in every skill in this game with no limitations. A cast on crit/Cast while Channeling gems but with applying ailments for non crit builds.
Speaking of battle mages.. Let us use Acro with ES.. Es penalty is something i dont get at all. Especially with ev/es nodes and gear. Make these stats have a meaning and unerf Crown of eyes. It was suppose to be a battle mage helmet, battle mages comes with CoC, CoC is all about crits. Its simple and fun. It was all that, now its sunder bordomness...
Stop nerfing things, game has moved on and you left so much behind. Give us more ways to have fun with multiple builds and viriations of them. You have limited your complex game too much with these nerfs!
About Acuity i dont get the reason of having a legacy version and i own a pair. For me change them all or dont change them at all. Leaving them as the only source to get insta leech will make Uber Atziri more interesting and fits the atmosphere of the game as loot hunter. But legacy version i dont agree.
