[3.1] Ngamahu's Flame - Molten Strike Berserker - Ancestral Call

Fixed! Didn't realize I had to do that. As I mentioned in my post I was playing around with skilltrees a bit so they don't exactly match the suggested atm.

Thanks for the helpful information aarontbarratt

Gotcha that makes sense.

So I went north, so far I haven't hit any bumps, still killing mobs quick, life dips a bit sometimes, but nothing too crazy. Bosses melt. May try Blasphemy + Projectile Weakness linked.

Projectile weakness gives a knock-back, which can be really fucking annoying on trash because everything ends up out of range. That's why I just leave it unlinked so I can self cast on bosses.

You character looks quite nice. The only problem I can see is that your CWDT is level 19, which means you need to take 3k+ damage before immortal call is ever going to do anything.

The things that kill any character are one-shots and lots of smaller hits all stacked in a small space of time. Immortal call won't save you from a one-shot (something that is going to hit you for 3000 or more damage, so you should use your CWDT set up to protect you again those stacking small hits.

I recommend having CWDT trigger at 15% of your max hp. So if you have 6000 life you want to trigger at around 900 damage, which is a level 6 CWDT.

Also, you might want to take out ele damage from your cyclone set up and just put in life leech. I doubt you're really aiming to deal a lot of damage with cyclone so it may be better to get some more leech.

So far hit 65....

i got 6s Nga and 5L Belly of the beast instead of the Koams boots. Damage has been good. Gonna do Merc Lab tonight.... I dont expect any issues. I may pick up Devoto's for movement speed.
Could this build work with Juggernaut?

You could but I don't think it would be nearly as good. You lose the 40% more damage and 50% increased attack speed from Berserker.

Juggernaut gives "cannot be stunned" and "cannot be slowed below base speed" for 4 ascendancy points! You can get those benefits + a big life roll on Kaom's roots and save yourself 4 ascendancy points in the process, doesn't seem worth it at all, seems pretty shit to be honest. Berserker can give these benefits and 40% more damage in the process.

Also you miss out on the 100% damage leeched as life, which paired with Vaal Pact gives us a lot of leech. You don't have this benefit as Juggernaut.

Juggernaut can also give a lot of Armour, which isn't great. Armour is good against small hits and not great again big hits. It's the big hits that kill you most of the time.

You also get some free endurance charge generation, which is ok I guess. If you want you can run enduring cry on a Berserker for the same benefit.

The fortify node is nice, but not game changing.

What pantheons do you take?

Completely forgot to mention these. Will add them to the guide now. Thanks.

Edit: Have added the info in section 5.3.

Major:
Soul of Lunaris 1% additional Physical Damage Reduction for each nearby Enemy, up to 8%
1% increased Movement Speed for each nearby Enemy, up to 8%

OR

Soul of Solaris 6% Physical Damage Reduction if there is only one nearby Enemy
20% chance to take 50% less Area Damage from Hits

Take which ever one is giving you the most problems / killing you. If you're getting killed by bosses take Lunaris, if you're getting killed by trash take Solaris.

Minor:
Soul of Tukohama While stationary, gain 2% additional Physical Damage Reduction each second, up to a maximum of 8%.

You tend to end up standing in place for a long time when single targeting with multistrike, so this is a nice phys damage reduction that we can take advantage of without changing our playstyle. Free defence basically.

Hey! Glad you're enjoying it. First jewel socket is directly north of the starting point and the second one is above Resolute Technique, left of Elementalist node in the Templar area.
