That looks really good! Basically sacrificing 40% more damage, cast speed and regen for a ton of life and extra AoE and jewels! Really nice twist!

I'm not sure I understand - Unearth and Orb of Storms crit often enough for me to have Ele Overload active when I need it (during boss fights). So getting 40% more damage for 2 points seemed sort of worth it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Definitively Hinekora! You want the leech - it's one of the corner stones of the build and defines its tankyness.

Getting Tukohama at the end only means you can't run ele reflect maps for a while (well, you can - but it's painfully slow as your totems will kill themselves on a single cast :D )

May i ask - why u use Blood Magic instead of Mind Over Matter? I tried to use your build layout in Abyss Hardcore and think its more safe.
Valid question. Mainly because of:

1. The mana cost of 6l totems

That's 160+ .. so you're spending over 300 mana every time you put 2 totems down. If you only use haste and have 50% mana left that will deplete your mana pool very rapidly and leave you defenceless.

2. Less/No Regen Maps

With Blood Magic you don't have to worry about no regen maps. Leech will carry you.

3. Never played it before

edit: if you used mind over matter, how did you work around 1 + 2?

On 85 lvl i had 1300 MP, so after 2 totems still have 1k mana. And i put mana potion on mouse5 or C hotkey and push it by coooldown - with blood or poison resist flask gives u almost immune to this effects. On maps flasks regen instantly - no problems. On bosses it may be some problems, but i didnt see any of them farming 8-9 maps. Still not sure it works so well on later maps, because died yestarday by an accident :(

By the way, i used Magna Eclipsis shield and saw like chaos damage beat in Magna's hp shield and mana instead of my own hp - but not sure.

U may look character in my profile - WarKrowy, - some tree talents and items need corrections (mby some more mp pool or mp regen; or Whispers of Doom for additional curse; or Arsonist - + 24% fire damage), but i like this build, and will try it again in next Hardcore League.

P.S. Yesterday i saw this helmet https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Hrimnor%27s_Resolve - how do think? I think it is very good for this build - fire damage and almost immune to freeze. And not expensive, but need right enchant from Lab.

Ha! That is indeed a really good helmet! If only getting the enchant on there would be somewhat achievable. I doubt that anyone would even try to enchant this as there are much better unique helmets for generic builds (rat's nest, skarkonja's, devoto's ...)
