All of the uniques here are extremely affordable. The abyssus doesn't need to have legacy crit multi - yes, it's nice, but (just like on doomfletch) the flat phys is what really matters the most. Flat phys is KING just like on doomfletch builds because of our voidforge weapon. Since All abyssus helms have the same flat phys roll, be sure to get a 40% increased physical damage taken roll.


Jewelery should be pure offensive/life. As stated before, flat phys is king. Other good mods are Life, WED, Accuracy, Crit Multi/Crit Chance, Attack Speed, all res, or a stat such as INT that you might need.



If you are on a budget, that means you don't have access to legacy acuities, so you should definitely take vaal pact. Your gloves and belt should be tri-res, preferably all allowing your resistances to be 100% Balanced for wise oak. With no flasks up, and just res on boots/gloves/jewels, I'm at 77% all res. Of course with Wise Oak up, this is 112% all res. However, since we're not pathfinder, we don't want to get caught without being at maximum resists even for a split second. The glove/belt combo listed above weren't as expensive as you would think. They don't have to be T1's, just give you adequate resistances.



You will use All Res/life/IAS on jewels, and res on tree where you can as well. We are very close to Sentinel on the tree, which gives us 10%all res, and the jewel socket with an all res jewel and the surrounding res nodes give us another 28% All res as well. Very good to use if you are on a budget OR using Acuities.

If you are bossing, 2 weight of the empires are a must. Be sure to have at least 40 strength in it's radius. It doesn't have to be allocated, just within the radius.



Hatred Crit Watcher's Eye is very important - more important than any other mod, with Hatred Conversion being the best 2nd mod for us. It's worth getting just any hatred crit jewel you can - 2nd mod is just icing on the cake



Rare Jewels should have stats listed above. Life/Allres being top priority, followed by IAS, Melee Damage, Multi, Physical Damage, etc...

As mentioned previously, this is a glassy-type build that deals insane BURST melee damage. You can see in my videos I prefer to actually run around instead of using leap slam (although I do use leap slam for utility or when I'm out of flasks). Because we use Infernal blow for our map clearing skill, this requires us to have very swift reflexes when attacking our enemies. We also have to click extremely close to our character model. I find that drawing your cursor away from your character in order to leap slam can put you in a threatening situation for a split second while not having your cursor next to your character in order to attack your enemy. Use your best judgement that fits your playstyle.
