Marauder - [3.2] Oni-Goroshi Molten Strike + Reave Chieftain [2 Million+ DPS, Easy Bosses] - Forum

" By "better than Chieftain" do you mean in terms of HC or in general? I've been thinking about the build and I would really like to somehow incorporate Slayer overleech into it, either as Slayer itself or some Ascendant variant. However, I dont see any way to convert the other 50% of lets say Flicker Strike physical damage to fire without going full Chieftain. Molten Strike is not a problem with its built-in conversion, but the clear skill most definitely is. The only way seems to be Avatar of Fire and that means losing 50% of our damage :/ Thoughts? e: I saw your other guide, but I'm strictly talking about making pure phys skills such as Flicker/Reave work As you mentioned, this is harder to do without Chieftain, for a pure-physical skill. You would have to do something like use Hrimburn gloves to convert 50% of the physical to cold, and then Pyre ring to convert 40% of that Cold into fire. Avatar of Fire (or Xoph's Blood) will take care of another 50% Cold to Fire. So you would lose 10% of the physical that converted to cold, since it's only 90% conversion... but that's the easiest method of converting. Heartseeker and Primevil Force are also big for dps. Other than getting levels, you need to fix your flasks. Get rid of both quicksilvers. Get 2 instant life flasks to start; eventually you just want one. You have no Staunching flask for bleeds. You need a Diamond flask; ideally also a Basalt and Granite (or Lion's Roar.) Why do you only have 5 links in your molten strike?
