Bestiary as a Core Game Mechanic

Great news!!!!!!

This is the right decision. Beast crafting as a mechanic was absolutely dreadful to engage with. Nothing about Bestiary was done right, from UI to multiple net types to menagerie limitations to lack of rewards it felt cumbersome and underdeveloped. After a large outcry of disappointment there were large buffs to the rewards for beast crafting that didn't fix any of the problems but instead made it too valuable to completely ignore the league mechanic. Bestiary still feels as awful as it did day 1 as nothing substantial was done to improve it. It's hard to give any credit for the early changes to the net's capture window because the league should have obviously shipped that way if anybody with over 1000 hours tested it properly.

The 3 month challenge leagues are too important to screw up this bad. Next time youre going to do something this ambitious you should test it on the general population or at least ask for feedback before dumping something as mechanically cancerous as a mob capturing and sorting league.

I am surprised GGG has made this decision. After all, a lot of work was put into it; similar to that of the "hated by many" LAB, even though we have countless threads of hate and loathing about the lab, it is still with us and a so-called "core part". (I have long gotten used to playing thru the lab but I still think it's the biggest piece of cr*p in the game, but...)

I wouldn't mine you keeping the beasts (with improvements, ofc) and dumping the lab.
Now, THAT would make my day.

Good riddance imho.
I say keep the bosses/gear sets in Zana. They are very interesting and look awesome to boot.

Good news. I don't like Bestiary mechanics at all, although I appreciate the incredible amount of work GGG put on this league.
