Animate Guardian is a late game option that is always viable. At that point, you will have to select what you are willing to give up to fit it in.

Summoners are so versitile... if u want animate guardian u just use it.... it wont harm the build. This guide is a GUIDE. A guideline you can follow and make ur own tweaks in it if u want. Make the setuo to ur own preference.

They stack. More is better. Eat nearby corpses for healing.

The PoB contains a lot of useless stats on the items. Is there any PoB or post with optimal items to look for? I plan to play this on trade league and would like to set up some live searches for proper items, I understand that this one primarily done for SSF and that's why the items only contain a few good rolls, but I'd like to know what perfection looks like so I can develope a better eye for what items to look out for (including uniques if they make more sense outside of SSF).

CI Crit Spectre feat. 1 Warcry Cluster (13k ES, 100% stun + e. ailment avoidance, + Endurance C.) :

The last pob is close to the theoretical max for damage while keeping enough defense. You can reach higher dps with Megalomaniacs or by simply ditching defense. Finding that many good Megas is highly unlikely and will cost you a dozen mirrors and will come with alot less ehp. In my opinion its not worth it anymore after the nerf.

Also Repleneshing Presence got buffed. It now grants 1% regeneration + 8% Aura Effect. You can replace a few Precise Commanders with it to gain better ES reg.


A few things of note:

With the crafting options revealed we can now pretty much guarentee an uber mirror tier spectre helmet for a dozen exalts.

We can also add 80% cold damage to our +2/+2 Shields, which prior wasn't realy worth the trouble/potential brick.

T4 Seeds can guarantee Hatred Effect on a +2/+2 Wand, again mirror tier.


Defense Crafting Options will make ES gear very achievable. Depending on which mods we can Fracture we might even see fractured +1 Spectre Vaal Regalias. Or
ES Synthimplicit Chests. You should be adding Synth Implicits to most of your gear. Intimidate on Hit Synth Rings are once again a thing and should be added in the build if you want to min/max. Alternative would be Enduring Cry with Warcry Cluster + Haunting Shout.

If you have a +2 Wand and +3 Helmet you can make the call to drop the +1 Spectre Gem lvl from the boots in favor of Onslaught Synth Boots for faster clear etc.
Or you can use the mentioned Warcry Cluster + Haunting Shout + Lead by example and get Onslaught like that.

You could get to 26M burst DPS with Ubmilicus + Bottled Faith, Cinderswallow, Taste of Hate, Wise Oak Atziri's Promise. ES drops from 12.6 to 11.6, so not too bad. Just need to balance res.

Well yes, but you are using Umbilicus, Insobyr played it as Ascendant and we theorycrafted it further on his Yt channel. Issue is, Ailments need to be fixed and curses aswell as movement speed.

Running out of flasks drops you damage hard. So we used Ascendant with Pathfinder for flask sustain and Inquisitor for Ele Ailment Immunity on Conc Ground.

We also used Megalomaniacs with Fasting to get Movementspeed without Quicksilver + more flask sustain.

You can obviously always get more dps someway or another. But defense or gameplay will most likely suffer aswell.

The build doesn't have many defensive layers if we give up the shield for Necro Aegis, so giving up Flasks aswell might be tricky if your ES isn't high enough.

If you reach ~15m per Spectre everything in the game insta dies. Average hit of 10m on a very consistant Spectre is just dumb, + whatever fuckery Crystal Impact Shotgun is supposed to be.
100m won't make full-hp Shaper disappear faster due to insane damage reduction at the start of the fight.

Saw Kay's new version and it gave me ideas. Dumping the ES nodes and not worrying about the right side of the tree is a good idea. I still think for SSFHC safety I want glancing blows.

I was wondering how I could incorporate a taunt other than rallying cry (I'll use that probably if I can get Arakaali's fang). So, based on this tree you have almost infinite uptime of enduring cry on left click with instant use (you'll regen 40-50% of your HP per second), which constantly generates endurance charges, which significantly improves the duration and effect of immortal call. Max attack block, near max (70%+) spell block (glancing blows, you'll take 50% of hit dmg, but with endurance charges and armour you are pretty chonky).

Yes DPS suffers a bit, but that's HC life haha. And no, I will not run no regen maps!

I'd be totally interested if you had a more detailed theory on how these crafts would work! Not that I will probably be able to do it in SSF.
