I didn't want to say anything about RS until I got into high rolled t16s to get a better idea of the nerf but they def feel a lot worse to borderline unviable now. I have pretty decent levels and items and I'm only missing level 21 gem and +2 from wand and boots. That would add about 6% damage per level, but as of now, sometimes you won't even one shot white mobs in a magic t16.
It def struggles in high quant t16s now and clear speed is noticeably worse. GGG hit it with the triple nerf as usual, hitting cluster jewels, ascendancy and spectre itself.
Right now using one cluster seems to be stronger than using double clusters, which is fine,cluster jewels should supplement the main tree, instead of just being outright better. But the nerf to jewels and minion itself just makes RS feel kind of bad now.
I would love to be proven wrong,I really liked playing RS the past two leagues, since I feel like the offscreen freezes and map clear really benefit your survivability.
I will be trying SO and hope they are better. Sucks that I have to re-itemize my resists and gems a bit after I had already invested a decent amount of currency into playing RS.
edit: Can someone tell me the best support gems to use with SO?

Dont forget the change to sniper curse, so RS lose pierce while SO have it by default.
Im using the gems Kay put in the last showcase, changing vicious for GMP (but im just starting to get in REDs)

If you want a specter that feels like the old RS, try out the Thaumaturgy Officer from bunker heists. I tried them vs Syndicate Ops, and find that the TO's were much better at bossing, and clear speed felt like the old RS. I'm using them with crappy gear and clearing red maps with just 3 of them.

Hi, first of all, this is an wonderful guide, using the Spectre and Spiders Build and still in the Leveling phase, after seeing the PoB-Link i got some question maybe someone can answer me:
I see skilled endurance Charges 2 times .... but i have not found in this build from what i get the endurance charges in the first place ... ?

it really isnt that bad with the crafting bench method
1)craft 2 sockets
2)craft at least 2 green socket to make the starting 2 sockets green
3)craft 3 sockets
if not green, craft 2 sockets again and repeat step 3
if green proceed to step 4
4)craft 4 sockets
if not green repeat step 3
if green you're done

You can use the jewelers method.
Start by adding 2 green sockets and crafting 3 and 4 sockets using jewelers until you hit the colours you need
-craft 2 green sockets
-craft 3 sockets
-if 3rd socket is green craft 4th, if not colour repeat 2 sockets to 3 sockets!

Craft three greens and then craft 4 sockets/3 sockets until you have 4 socketed triad. TBH I made myself one last league in less than 1 min.

Not even close, SO are better.
Plus the fact that they shotgun means no gem swaps are required, GMP is a DPS upgrade for both single target and clear
thank for idea sir GMP is so much better easy red map
