Yeah, block and life on block.
So I just go like normal and use rumi, bone armor with the already triggered bone offering and block the damage?

Rumi and Bone offering is already enough, bone barrier isnt really used, cause it shares cooldown with Immortal Call anyway.
Rumi+Offering puts you to like 75%/50% block i think, which is plenty enough considering you have like 8k+ hp and recover lots of hp everytime you block.

So I'm making the change to v2, how safe our animate guardian is with the new setup? Mine just randomly died after surviving 60 uber elders and everything else throwed at him lol.
Not sure to be honest. My AG is only 20/20 with elemental army/feeding frenzy linked and has never died in uber elders, rippy t15-16, mastermind, pure chayula, 5way legion, 350+ delve.. etc. Never even came close to dying, I think the lowest HP I noticed it go is around 75% once, although my AG is beefy... Had currency to spare so I was very generous on it's gear:

Haha. Unfortunately the only garbs that were on trade were at 60ex with double corruptions, so I didnt grab one :P
Still reluctant to replace the gruthkul for one. Without minion life/empower I feel it might become too squishy.
can someone pls say me why ther is so much strengh in this build?
it is not really intended or needed for a specific unique or gem. most of the bigger life nodes are just in the "strength" area of the passive tree, where life is often given together with strength and every minor passive gives strength instead of dexterity or intelligence. it is just nice to have, nothing more :)
