Quick question gearing this up in Betrayal now. Purity of elements, why do I need it? I am over capped on fire and cold by a lot, and lightning is right where it needs to be. DO I need to run purity of elements? Would I better off running a herald maybe instead?

TLDR: Essentially saves 60% all resistances when used with specific watchers eye, otherwise 30-

I'm using the same watchers eye. It does make choosing the rest of the equipment easier.
Here's what I'm currently running: https://pastebin.com/2YpSYkAU

I'm looking for some advice on what I can improve. I have around 13ex in cash, plus whatever I'm able to make from helm enchants while I farm out my last 200 Uber Lab chests.

I'm not happy with my ES pool, or that I have to sink a couple of points into mana regen nodes (Dreamer). I currently have the resist enchant on my neck in order to get my lightning above everything else for Wise Oak, and my regen without those two nodes is only around 55, which isn't enough to sustain Molten Strike properly. When I can, I plan on picking up Celestial Judgment for the extra penetration.

Personally I would get a Watcher's Eye with "% of maximum mana as extra maximum energy shield while affected by clarity" instead of the "es gain on hit while affected by discipline" one. Although ES gain on hit is very nice, I'd want to first be sure that my ES is at about 10K so that I avoid most one-shots.

I would replace the Pure Talent jewel with something else as it's only providing AOE and 4% increased damage.

If you can't sustain MS only on regen, you can take a mana leech node on the tree. Leech may be less passive/gear intensive than trying to sustain mana via regen.

Using the Watchers eye that gives 1.2% damage leeched as mana while under wrath
and 16% of max mana as max ES while under clarity. Should I swap to one without the leech?

Mana leech on your Watcher's Eye is good - it'll likely save you some passive points/gear stats.

Depending on your current stats and what you want to replace it with it's not clear what would be better.
quite nice, i was delving till 731 just right now without issues, but delve had no hard extra mods

Thanks for the feedback! I picked up a new Watcher's Eye (the one I was using actually dropped for me). I realized I was stupid by picking up Dreamer instead of Mana Flows. I'm at over 87 mana regen, which should be enough (I can't easily get any mana leech without a considerable rework of the tree).

If you're wondering why my tree is at it is, it's actually based on one of the top DPS HOWA Juggs I could find on PoE Ninja. I used that as a resource a few times when looking for ways to further improve my passive tree. I also swapped out Pure Talent for another Abyss Jewel. I think I need to look into upgrading those next, since they're all serviceable, but kind of mediocre, as well as trying to hunt for a T1 %attributes neck. If I swap Ancestral Call for Lightning Pen on single target fights, I can get to nearly 900k Shaper DPS with flasks up.
your first mistake there was trusting poe ninja's estimation of offence, its complete garbage for calculating that.

my friend has a 50mill dps blade vortex, and poe ninja only gives him 7.8 mill dps.

im at 1.2mill shaper, and poe ninja only gives me 600k. (per ball)

don't trust it.

if you want an actual estimation, you need to input them into pob yourself, and check all the marks.

RE leech
Drop Mana Flows - pick up Mind Drinker.

Re jewels
Yeah, you can pick up quite a bit of ES/damage by upgrading your jewels.
Based on your blade flurry damage below, where it is shown 1-5mil dps?
Is damage per use and damage per second(dps) not the same?
And if possible, can u teach how to calculate dps?
Sorry for such a basic question :)
