Especially that 1m shaper dps is enough to clear anything in this game comfortably. We reach way more dps than that with any ability pretty much
Personal I think the build is Fine but Now use BF instead of MS easy

Calling it now...MS is going to feel janky af with having to hit an enemy. I honestly think most players are used to running and gunning with MS and not worrying about targeting in it's current form. I hope I am wrong. However, I think MS is dead....for now.


Good point - it will make it painful to pick up stragglers unless ancestral call lets you hit adjacent-ish mobs even if you hit nothing with the main hit.

If multistrike + ruthless have the expected interaction on the 3rd hit (6x damage), that will make reave an excellent option. It would also let me stop using a 300es hat for the enchant :)

[edited] Pity, just realized they addressed this by making ruthless work on the 3rd invocation of the skill instead of the 3rd hit.

I'm going to roll this build again for 3.7, I think the new melee buffs, gems, and auras are going to be fun to experiment with, and the framework of this build is still strong.

Not having perma IC could be a little awkward, but it was too strong I guess.

What new defensive and offensive skills look strong for this build?
Something like frenzy could be worth trying, it looks so damn strong.

Lightning strike, spectral throw, blade flurry (even after nerf, aoe got buffed), maybe static strike, wild strike

Frenzy would be better for frenzy charge stackers
With lightning strike, do the projectiles overlap like molten strike? The damage doesn't feel anywhere near as strong as MS did.

They don't, but clear speed is amazing and you have vaal lightning strike for single target damage
Honestly though, how bad do you think MS will be? I don't think it will be that bad since we can facetank everything anyway, getting in melee range wont be that bad, and with conc effect + melee splash wont that be just fine for single target?

I am at 900k POB dps right now, and run an IIQ gem on everything except Delve - even on uber elder. So the dps will be fine, but I am with grizzly on worrying about the mechanic of not generating a projectile unless you hit. If the ancestral call mechanic is gone, this is much more than a 40% nerf.
MS might be okay once you have insane gear for it but at that rate, could have just gone LS. Ran some tests with it on standard and it feels pretty good even without the buffs coming in 3.7. They did nerf some of the ES nodes i think so the top end ES could be a bit lower. Nothing really changes with build except MS. Also might wanna look into adding in fortify to the 6link setup.
