I found that rings like this could be very viable budget option until you can afford smth better... Assuming you have 7 uniqs on you (Chest + HoWA + Gloves + Belt + Astramentis + 2 Rings), each will give you 18%(2*7+4) Increased Intelligence.

I also tried to use BF with no great success - i found it very clanky and sometimes even bugging. I mean sometimes it just not doing damage at all, but animation goes as usually.

The ways the game's fucked seem to be piling up so much over time and I barely check up on things that much.

I'm not even sure what to use for now. I guess I will stick to Cyclone, but it's not that amazing. Maybe I've try Reave again eventually, but I suspect that the single target damage will be lacking.

Reave is working well - I am on standard (so pretty geared), and running guardians and Delve 450-ish with an IIQ gem. Anything beyond that and you will want a full 6L though, as single target is not great.

Key with reave is Vaal Reave and maintaining 8 stacks. This gives you a 54-unit AOE.

Note that POB does not support Multistrike, so Reave dps will not look great in POB. I am using:
Vaal Reave
Multistrike
Damage on Full Life
Elemental Damage with Attacks
Elemental Focus
Fortify

I think I will swap to that again, I tried playing it non-Vaal when I had a way worse setup, but I'll be getting some exalts for some upgrades, so it should be much better now. I really need a way to clear Legion better, since it's apparently where loads of the gains are.
Allright guys so i leveled it up and he is the conclusion.

Blade flurry version sucks. No idea if blade flurry is bugged or something, but it feels clunky and slow. Survivability is much lower because of lack of IC, even if you invest into phys damage reduction

Molten strike (yeah tested that too) suprisingly feels much better, clear speed on the maps is as it was before pretty much, but the single target damage is gutted, compared to before. You would need to switch ancestral call for multistrike if you want good damage. So that is a problem.

I will post a PoB link for 3.7 molten strike version, but won't update the guide, because i won't play it this league. The build is still strong, the thing is there are no good abilities to use anymore i feel like, every good ability scales with phys damage now, so it sucks super hard for elemental damage build. It's playable, but it's not like in the past leagues, when it was 1 million miles above anything else

Something seems bugged with blade flurry - and the physical focus of it now doesn't help. Reave and MS are the 2 remaining good skills with claws until they hopefully address claws/daggers next patch.

The build is still very effective on Standard. I've gone with 72% block as the additional defensive layer, and it's working very well in Delve so far (I am 4% from hitting 100, then will go deeper). I'd not want to try this without Standard gear though, as I am carried by legacy Rumi's. I am still at 1 death going from 95 to 99.94, with all of post-99 being in 3.7.

https://pastebin.com/QDtGHHQC is the extra tanky leveling build I am using with the added block. Once I am at 100, I will drop down to ~14-15k ES and gain a fair bit of dps by replacing jewels and some nodes.

Yeah with legacy gear it should definitely feel stronger, not as good with league gear tho
