Felt like Vortex was really falling behind other skills in terms of raw damage potential over the last year or two (I think the final nail in the coffin was the nerf to Pyre's cold-to-fire conversion, which makes me happy to have a few legacy in standard if I want to boot up the old hot-tub vortex build again) Combat is simple.

Seems like there might be an oversight here with the totem changes. Maybe it's intended but to me it feels just like a massive oversight.
The changed ascendency of hiero allows you to place 2 totems instead of 1 and the new support gem allows you to place 2 totems instead of 1. Considering that the new support gem is MANDATORY if you're going for totems and considering that the ascendency changes for hiero still make that a BiS for totems since the 3% extra damage per totem is pretty decent (and also it's not like they have anything else that matters to trade that in for something else). Why would each state that you place 2 totems instead of place 1 additional totem so that you can place 3 at a time. It seems pretty terrible design if you are going to give 2 sources that do the same thing and those sources are pretty much mandatory to take! "The heavens burned

Hm some good changes, some bad, some useless.
+ existing maps from the previous series have been updated to these new versions. + max res balance, Zerphii changes. + reworked skills (the most important numbers are missing though) + buff to ES via flat ES and Eldritch battery + Indigon balance + some buffs to Unique items - No buff to XP, map drop - Zana past league mods still bad without increased 20% quantity - no nerf to Poet's Pen, instead over-buffing other trigger mechanics - self-casting still bad (unless BV) compared to totems / traps / mines - No buff for poison / bleed - Melee is still weak compared to casters (especially after stat sticks are gone - Lots of new legacy items but missing QoL what´s the legacy item (poor new players). - No love for Party playing / speed meta racing still here. +- some changes makes no sense (MS both buffing and nerfing at once). Probably missed lots of things but overall nothing really game changing. 3.5 Meta prediction - Triggering skills are back (poor servers and party playing) - BV / GC mines / arc traps still on the top - New skills will be popular at the start of the league but without some numbers / interactions hard to say. - MS / BF still the top singl target melee skill - PF still the top delver but other classes are in touch (guardians, occultists, jugg).
