its me again. ok this is what i have, all res. 75+, max life 2704, regen with nothing on is 362.3, with every thing on but Holy Flame Totem is 433.7, when i turn on RF my life drains fast, at what lvl should my regen be to stop the draining? (when i turn on Holy Flame Totem it drains slow)

From what i can see on your build you have lot good life gear already. This makes your RF degen even more.
A quick fix would be that you replace amulet With Shaper's seed and when you hit 59 you replace shield with Saffel's frame. Both are 1 alchemy uniques that will boost regen and max fire res a lot. Also you might want to take on second lab soon. If you just turn off your RF and get spell life firestorm it should be easy enough.

Edit: also get a ruby flask. it will help a lot. sulphur flash will also help with dmg

You're welcome! I hope you enjoy the build! Ask any questions you like along the way.

Hey Everyone,

So I haven't played for a few nights, but I just wanted to share my gear with you in reference to sustaining RF.

I'm level 54 (though I'm going to play more after this post) and this is the gear I have and can sustain RF at full Endurance Charges (currently 5) using the method that I posted in the guide. Obviously I have to use flasks to heal when I get hit...but life is way easier standing next to a totem. The sustain itself is without standing in Consecrated Ground and only the first Ascendancy has been done.

So anyway, that's just to give you a reference for gear. This gear is just the normal junk playing solo. In other words, don't worry about gear. It'll come...just be patient.

Edit: And with the same gear, at level 56 I can sustain RF without Charges if I'm moving.

Any chance you could post your skill tree? It would also be useful for the section "How to Sustain RF at Level 55"

Thanks for the guide :)
a quick 60 point skill tree https://pastebin.com/UZimrTx2

you basically take all regen nodes you can. then you go for endurance charges

P.S.: take barbarism as well. i forgot to include it in tree

P.P.S: a more detailed progression of the path I take (notables):
Warriors blood, Armour mastery, Diamond skin(you can skip this but i like extra resists early), Master of arena, Golem's blood, Barbarism, Arsonist, Combat stamina, Sanctity, regen nodes near Sanctity, Shaper, regen nodes near Shaper, Quick recovery

By the time you got all these you are around lv 56+ and with some gear it should be easy to sustain RF.

Then I go for endurance charges. First Stamina and the regen per endurance charges, then Vigor. This gives you 5 max charges which is enough for now.

After this I take big life nodes: Heart of the warrior, Constitution, Discipline and training

Thank you for the guide. I just have one question:

Normally the "leech" mechanic in the game require a Hit. But this node actually gives us leech from RF as well!

Any source on this specific leech working with RF? I don't see why it would work.

Don't think RF does leech at all since it would be to easy to sustain it with just Eye of innocence. However Hinekora, Death's Fury does provide you with leech when your totems hit so in this build is still powerfull

You're very welcome! I hope you're enjoying playing. I think I will add the following picture in the guide for sustaining RF as early as possible.
Here's the tree:
Here's me sustaining RF right after the spider boss fight in Act 7. Note, I have keep moving at this point (Soul of Abberath (pantheon)). (I haven't yet selected Discipline and Training.)

You're welcome! I hope you are having fun.

In 3.5 Path of Building had RF leeching from Hinekora. But you are correct. That is no longer seems to be the case. I will amend that in the guide (and then maybe consider Aronhongui instead of Hinekora for 3.7.)

I appreciate the post!
