Thanks Rake for the great build - just got my first Foil, and it feels even better. Easily can run through up to t12s with 0 issues on survivability. only at about 5400 life so far, but feeling pretty good.

Question - prioritizing some of the end game stuff, would you put transcendent flesh above a 6L +1Maim chest? im going for a 2nd foil first to get the APS, but curious about the other two.

thanks!

PS - Why smashing strikes?!?!? Kidding :) it helps a shit ton w enduro charges, i was skeptical, but highly recommend.

6l with maim and -mana. currently is around 2-4ex. Life Active Search should get you one within a day below 3ex

Transcendent is mostly a defense jewels. It's pretty strong but i would never pay 2ex for it. Last league the price was something around 30-50c as far as i know. You can also buy the mats for the jewel and craft it yourself as soon as you get the room on your temple (that's how i did it. Crafting costs where 12c some days ago)
Thanks, will start the searches.

Appreciate it!

I said that before, this is the worst build i ever played in terms of survability its horrible.

And i have almost 5k life

Or i am doing something terrible wrong or this build is the most squichy i ever played by this time last season with a different build i had cleared Uber elder several times by now. With this build i get 1 shot by every more "aggressive" mobs on every single red map. I am sadly looking for respect into another build.

Is it the Transcendent flesh jewel that i am missing that makes all the difference? Is is the -77% chaaos resistance that the gloves causes? I am missing Chaos resistance on gear i know that. but is is that?

On POB Says this build has 76% Phys Reduction. But where does it come from ?

Is it Armor i am missing? Would be great if Rake could update the Guide ( That is amazing, Don't get me wrong ) with just 2 lines saying where does the survability comes from, and where can we get it. Because this build doen't have any Unique item of Major node to do this.

zero survability with this build even tho i have on every gear piece health... i would not recommend this build.

edit :forgot to say, this build also has serious mana issues

Every Endurance Charge is 4% phys reduction. Transcendent Jewel is 7% Phys Reduction. Everything else comes from the Armour.

I also would count some of your Items more as T6 than T5 Equip. (higher life rolls should be pretty cheap)

I've just tried to look for the current prices and how you can upgrade your gear. But trade is already down the whole day. So, can't really help you with that.

So i can just say in generall:

In PoE you have either the choice to play extremly defensive builds that do terrible damage most of the times. Or play more on the offensive side where you decide how good the build does.

Your Problems are currently:

- your damage is probably bad - you don't stun enemies - so they have all the time in the world to hit and kill you
- your flasks are terrible. You don't even have an instant life flask. That's the most important flask in the game for every life based build.
- in addition to Flasks - Lion's Roar is a huge Damage and defensive boost. While you knock back enemies, they can't do anything
- if you can't afford an Lion's Roar currently, get a basalt flask and a granite flask. Look to get %increased armour on one and knockback on the other. Cut one life flask and the mana flask for it

Genrally: You can make this build as defensive as you wish. There are plenty of options since 3.7. But that always costs damage - alot of damage. I'm not a fan of this. I've always had the opinion that offense is the best defense as long as your defense is at least decent. If your offense is good enough and you are not to slow, you should be killing everyhing before it barely is able to touch you.

But i don't know your playstyle. If you are playing more confy, you maybe should think about cutting a lot of damage for more defense. But i've never played like that. So can't barely jugde how good this would work for you.

Hi what do you think about nebuloch whith respect's point on maces?

You could ofc do that. But as far as i remember i lost around 50% damage (tried it in PoB in 3.6). So, i can't tell how good it would work.

Hey! thanks for the build its awesome,

I'm planning to do it in HC,

Is there a point taking Chieftain over Juggernaut for tankiness, is this viable to play chieftain regarding endurance charges ?

Thanks a lot for your answer ! keep this good work <3
I have around 180c and asking that should i buy 6L or Lion's Roar first? Thanks!

You should be able to get both for 180c. Your first 6l doesn't need to be something special. As much life as you can get for around 50c.

Chieftain has more lifereg. Juggernaut more Phys reduction.

But i'm really not experienced regarding HC.

But maybe you want to get "Soul of Steel" and "Crystal Skin" for additional Defense for HC. And/Or more Endurance Charges.

Little update on my gear and whatnot. Not sure what route to take next. With full rage and flasks up my tooltip is 1.5million. But damage still seems kind of low as far as killing rares. Also rares from legion's kinda wreck me sometimes. I've got 5 ex in spare currency currently.

Part of me wants to switch tect slam to cyclone and drop the endurance staff charge nodes and grab the area nodes instead. Switch to berserker and get the rage and blitz nodes then toss on a thief's torment or some LGOH shaper rings.

Might even try zerker in general with it. I've got a fk load of regret orbs.

Hello everyone,

I posted a question not too long ago but I did not get an answer. So here goes... again. What happens when we use Smashing Strikes with Multistrike? Can we generate endurance charges off the extra attack repeats?
