Someone already posted a sample level 40 build prior to converting to CI...around page 11 or 12 that was decent. Basically, try to get some life nodes before switching to CI at around level 60 or 70 (Maps) is my guess. At least, that's my plan is to switch at maps if I have the currency.

Oh sorry, missed it. Well, you mostly want to prioritize big nodes in Shadow area, so Lethal Assault, Resourcefulness, Soul Thief, possibly Master of Force and Void Barrier. After that you can either go for Written in Blood and Melding or start pathing to Witch area and take EO, and some ES nodes (EO is nice for early leveling, but not sure if its that worth as we are quite far away from it)

Yeah, it is still like 20% damage reduction, still very strong (and lasts longer).

Btw, updated the PoB, added leveling tree (somewhere between level 40-50, also updated the description in main post).

I'd replace Inc AOE for Empower. Controlled destruction can be swapped for Conc Effect when bossing.

Well, it is prefix, and spell crit is suffix so that will not work, sadly. I tried setup with Empower and + lvls and it was only like 20k extra damage for big bump in crafting costs

haha yeah, not sure how I missed that. XD

It could be possible to get the 20% Double Damage/Attack speed suffix though. This would be a decent DPS boost as well. Harder to make ofc.

Just wanted to say thanks to you thedeathbeam for this awesome and well written guide. First time for me to play an CI build (in the ES nerf season... of all ...) but I think its gonna be alot of fun.

Is this possible today with cast while channeling

You can do something similar with CwC but it will have a lot less damage, because CoC setup relies on casting linked spell very fast, but CwC has low trigger rate so it works best with skills that are slow or not reliant on cast speed (like Blade Vortex).

Small update to the build:

Updated leveling section, added info about grabbing movement and utility gems and also switched to triple herald setup while leveling instead of double herald.
