Hrimsorrow is decent early, but, decent conversion rare gloves cost like 1-2C so that should not be an issue.

Just 2 blues should be fine, you can do it on crafting bench. I off-colored mine with jewellers method, but it was pain (and probs not worth after all those jewellers I spent, lol).

And Eber's is both for Void Gaze and for chaos conversion, its really really good item for this build (or any chaos conversion build really).

Hi, really enjoying this build and making some good progress through maps. Feeling nice and tanky, playing with Flesh and Stone and Herald of Ash, rather than a triple Herald setup or Hatred. I got lucky with finding my amulet for cheap so I'm going to focus on fire damage for a few levels I think.

My question is what you think I should improve next? PoB is telling me that conversion gloves (fire, cold, or lightning) will lower my DPS as compared to the Doedre's Tenure gloves I'm using currently. So what are my options here? Do I need a better weapon first, or is there something else I should do?

I'm playing on console, so the market is quite different - common uniques are easy enough to find (Restless Ward was 15c, and I 5Led it myself) but for example, Rippling Thoughts is currently impossible to get. Searching for rares is a crapshoot as well, although not impossible. Really need to upgrade my belt as well, but that likely won't affect DPS.

do we preFer assasin's mark over warlord's mark For the dmg multiplier on crits? leech-wise warlord's should be better, shouldn't it? also the endurance charges might come in handy?

Respecced a bit to grab Charisma once I hit 90 so I could run 4 auras and the build is feeling even smoother. With a stave build, I can link enlighten with HoI+Culling, HoA, Hatred, and Discipline. I tried the one hand + shield setup for a bit but shield charge feels too clunky and survivability didn't improve much (actually decreased in big packs imo because I no longer got the disintegrator leech). Ran a few t16s yesterday and only died once. Once I can afford a hatred conversion + energy shield on hit gem, I'll look to push elder.

Only real debate left is my CDWT setup. Currently have immortal call and purifying flame+combustion but feel combustion is pretty unnecessary since we do minimal fire dmg. Increased duration is fine but maybe enfeeble would be better?

Edit: not positive but I believe I can sustain those auras without charisma if I get level 4 enlighten and a helmet enchant for either Hatred or HoI. May try to play with it in PoB when I get home. Would give me a lot more es.

Just wondering, would it be possible to just switch out Blade Vortex and use Bladefall instead? Without doing any other changes, or would it be a big dmg loss?

Honestly, your current sceptre is already pretty good. Some of the reccomended uniques do not start to be *that* good until you add some chaos conversion/cold/fire conversion to the mix.

Rippling Thoughts is just pure QoL weapon pick, because we can apply curses and combustion/culling with it, and also helps with clear. But its by no means great DPS option.

Cold Conversion gloves are worse for DPS because you do not convert enough (where Doedres are pure DPS). But, they will most likely have more ES and some resists over your current gloves, what would already be improvement imo.

Combustion is not doing anything for you atm because you are not doing almost any fire damage, actually, combustion is not very good until Cold to Fire gem (for what you also need way more fire conversion, so its long way to go).

Your setup is decent, I would get Wither totems and Vaal RF for burst and bossing though, they help by A LOT. Also, Diamond flask, I can't stress enough how this flask is important for any crit build.

Warlords Mark do not works anymore for spell leech. And the endurance charges, well, they are o-k but not worth losing ass mark.

We actually do a lot of fire damage, well, with Cold to Fire gem and Herald of Ash, but the thing is, it is best damage support that is not active skill and not vaal skill, so i mostly used it because of that.

You definitely want to keep PF, IC and Inc Duration imo, but you can drop combustion. Inc Duration on IC makes it last 2 seconds, what is pretty huge, and better than low level enfeeble (and you will anyway override it with ass mark).

Yeah, it scales in exactly same way, but also, it would be probably huge DPS loss. But you can try it, it could be fine enough (BV dps is just too huge though).

hey, thanks so much for the advice, now have princess and managed to up my resistances a bit and get cold conversion gloves. May I ask, what is the use of purifying flame?
