How does this build perform with the core items (Lionseyes, the embalmer, atziri flask, 5-6 sock armor) early red maps? Yellow?

" You can get 1M+ dps with just the core items and gems and literally nothing else so you can just take that to whole endgame (and apparently multiple people did that, I personally just try to upgrade to basic delve bow in red maps, more damage = faster clear so its always nice). And Plague Bearer carries map clear until early red maps just by itself. hey I'm loving this build but can you check my BOW stats? I just crafted and it feels a lot better than one with chaos added damage. I'm wondering how and if chaos damage mods translate to poison DOT? Can you help me understand? Great build but I still have to take care for one shots

" Yeah that bow looks pretty decent, but I would check in PoB if chaos multi wins over increased phys/flat phys crafts, because atm your flat looks pretty low. And if you did not had any sources of despair on hit before, then with despair on hit the clear feels waaay better, so maybe that is what makes the big difference for you. But ideally you want to have some good phys/chaos base damage on bow (again, you can easily check the DPS difference in PoB). For Vile Toxins, well its either Vile Toxins or Unbound Ailments as last link. Vile Toxins are less dps than Unbound Ailments, but that is mostly because Unbound also provide a lot of duration, what is usually not *that* great, but even the base chaos multi is good, so it works. Also Unbound Ailments have lower mana multiplier, and it makes difference for - mana cost maim chest and ring craft where with Unbound the mana cost is 0, and with Vile Toxins its 1 or 2 I think (not that important, but still, and of course for people not running - mana cost chest that small difference is a bit more annoying). I have two other bows, more close to what you describe, but have no other source of applying despair, so even if the DPS is greater the clear is worse. I seriously cannot get even CLOSE to your 3.4M in PoB, I tried a couple ways, even with despair applied. I also don't get how flat scales with the poison DOT (I mean, we're not taking a lot of % phys damage nodes, so skill hit should be meaningless, it's poison multi that's important, right?) I'm just not getting it in my head (or PoB) how this works together...

" Have you checked the configuring PoB for your character section? You should be def getting more damage with the Vicious Projectiles bow you have there. And for base hit importance for poison build, here is snippet from wiki: `The base damage per second dealt by a given application of poison equals 20% of the combined physical and chaos damage of the base damage dealt which applied that particular instance of poison` And then it gets increased and multiplied by all sources of poison scaling we have, so increasing base hit is pretty powerful. I personally just used corrupted embalmers, but yeah delve ring is very solid option too. My builds:

Or just keep this up all the time :-) trouble is for delve ring (which I got for 4c) or the flask the curse icon doesn't appear over enemies heads

Hi, thanks for build its my first leage and im hitting now 40/40 i managed to almost "copy" the build near to 100% but have a question about mana cost body armour i guess u deleted maim becouse of mana cost increase on Scourge Arrow right or there is another reason?
I feel like sometimes i lack of some control over the hordes of mabs in some sick sextans T16 maps and i woud like to obtain maim on crafting so there is a question: Do i need shaper / elder base armour for maim? Do i need to use 2 fossils in resonator to obtian mana cost and maim or 1 is enought? for what is lucent fossil? And i will need use scorched fossils becouse i want to craft fire resistances after i swapped to HH my fire res dropped to 12% to 50% with quicksilver flask but its still not what i want. | |
" If you are willing to also lose some DPS I can only recommend annointing Soul Raker, it makes huge difference in feel of the build (as with it your leech becomes somewhat noticeable what is good boost). " I removed Maim mostly because it was not worth the price that much to have it in main setup, the increase in mana cost of SA is not that significant. But to craft it, I used Pristine + Serrated before, should get you both - mana cost and maim with decent life eventually, but its a bit pricier to craft than just simple - mana cost body. Alternatively I saw people using Flesh & Stone and its I think possible to fit it in with Intuitive Leap for charisma and lvl 4 enlighten (with like level 10 precision maybe). Gets you Maim, some extra damage reduction and blinds everything around. And damn for first league that is pretty damn solid progress, very nice.
