Unless you have a way to not die from the reflect of Defy Pain, I wouldn't. Just go Rite of Ruin for Uber Lab.

Was thinking Yugul and the Risk Awareness node for -85% incoming Reflect damage.

I don't like linking stuff, but I think Zizarian made a video on the build you want. they went 100% immunity to reflex taking Defy and going soul tether, the rest of the gear is rares I think. Seems like a cool concept imo.
Can someone check if I have made any errors on my char. It's level 70 now with a few ex invested, been a long day. Got about 5 more ex to invest, what would you do? I went for impale. Got annointments to do for chest/neck, not sure what to pick.

Honestly if you want to go impale go follow this guide https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2566504 . It's exactly what you're looking for except they go axe nodes instead. You could swap out your tree and gear easily, as axe seems to be better.

Just level up more, get 100% impale when you can, aim for high life and max res (chaos), try to figure out a way to manage your mana besides a flask if you can. The guide I linked has tons of raw damage, just substitue some out for a few life nodes and defense.

I prefer to have a CWDT setup with molten shell, steel skin, and punishment. Run immortal call on your left click for more survivability if you need it.

You can also check my char - playing a fairly safe version with 100% impale, soul tether, fortify nodes and an axe. Managed to fit in pride, dread banner and flesh and stone with maim. Also went for Defy Pain instead of Rite of Ruin - with 2 jewels, minor pantheon and risk awarness wheel.

Currently saving up currency for better axe and going to try the hateforge gloves for just using vaal groundslam.

Hi i am really enjoying the build, which gems should i use on the 6l for val ground slam if i have the cluster with overlord?
has anyone tried to run hateforge with this build ? i find it no so good due to consuming the rage and losing the bonus of 70 rage xD

also use the redblade banner shield in offhand to start your map/boss with full rage
Hello,
I used the build as a league starter. Everything is going really well up to the red maps. you have to invest next to nothing and you crush through the maps.
Times have put together a build that is designed for the new low life mechanic.
So far it feels a lot more fluid and stable. I'm still missing a few items, but it really makes a good impression.
I'm also happy to be open to suggestions for improvement from the cracks.
