i dont see why not, its just gearing affixes and a few nodes on bottom right ranger, a bit of sacrifice of middle/left side

Just in case you missed it the below quote is from the Recently Asked Questions thread:
Transfigured gems can be corrupted to Vaal versions of the gem, but the Vaal Skill that gets added to the Transfigured gem will be the normal Vaal Skill and not a Transfigured version of the Vaal Skill.
So, we can definitely get a Vaal version of the transfigured Ground Slam, it just won't be a giga-buffed version of it. I expect it will still feel really nice for clearing though as it should still be a bit more damage, especially to closer targets.

Ah.... good old reliable Slam.
Coming back to PoE for my itch and I see this build is still going. I might not get far into end game(I burn out myself) but always glad to have this in the back pocket to reference.

thats good to know, altho regular vaal gs has a better more multiplier and already can be exerted

ill also be starting this build, probably using vaal GS and vaal eq. the new quality bonuses seem very nice for our dps and other qol
also
axe mastery that destroys corpses makes this unusable so either skip that or go mace version
What do you think about the New EQ Gem?
I Guess it's need some test but Can be fun

the longer duration one?
its not really for melee dmg, its for big ignites or similar

Great build! Will be playing it on league launch.
I *definitively* see potential for the new eq, especially with totems. maybe not for exactly this build, but i will try to shoehorn in a 4l version for bossing and see how it goes
edit: will probably run a Jugg since ultimatum is coming back

using it as a utility dmg does indeed seem fun, just need to work out which qol gems you will sacrifice
