Was wondering why not use a warstaff like a serpentine staff for this craft. Do Fortify gets more commonly roll on mauls, swords and axes?
You certainly could do this... and by doing this you also have a chance to hit +2 to all spell gems. Be aware though that staves have a MUCH large possible mod pool (over twice as many), so rolling what you want will be quite a bit harder.
Edit: Nevermind, You said warstaff, that can't roll caster mods.... That does that cut down your mod pool quite a bit, and gives you a much better implicit. It still has more mods possible, but not nearly as bad as I was thinking... Probably worth thinking about! Good idea!
Why is +2 to spells better than +1 to all gems?
+1 to all gems still ends up with +2 to zombies due to empower. And it gives +1 to all other support gems as well, which +2 doesn’t do. What am I missing here?
+2 works on every spell tagged gem in your build. The +2 to all spell gems gives my current build +2 to Spectres, Spirit Offering, Skeletons, Guardian, Flame Dash, Dread Banner, Flesh and Stone, and Discipline.... At the cost of +1 to the remainder of my zombie support gems. That "may" not even be a good trade if awakened gems scale really well when over leveled.
Consecrated ground flasks ( even the unique expensive one) can be good to help zombies?

Lethal pride
The lethal pride used in this build depends on its "seed". This means that we want to notice what number it has on it. We DO NOT know the 20% seed of 3.8 as of now. When you want to aquire this item, you should buy the cheapest one you can get your hands on and divine it until you reach the desired. (You can get the maximum amount of zombies with 15%).
I don't understand the seed you mean

+2 to all spell gems has the same prefix tag as +2 support gems, so it wouldn't work with +2 spell gems unless we want to sacrifice the +2 support. :(

Yes, as it is basically the same mechanics as pride. It isn't us but area based, so our zombies get flat crit aswell as increased damage to enemies on conc ground, plus it adds a ton of regen.
The seed is basically the number the lethal pride has, theres a ton of them and only very few has been discovered to be usefull for this build.

It works, it's just stupid rare (weight 50)
Hmm.. interesting. Must've been changed when they edited the +x to gems in general. I assume that the best weapon avalible is:
fortity
+2 all
+2 to support
minion
craft mod
aspect
Then? Maybe it would be worth looking more into faceted crafting then?
Although +1 is still a tiny bit more dps than the +2 in PoB it seems. The Quality of life from the +2 seems to be very minor too.. So i actually think i'd stick with +1 unless you get lucky and hit +2 spell gems.
