Resonators can now stack. They have a stack size of 10 in normal Stash Tabs and the inventory, and can the Primitive Resonators can stack to 5000 in the Currency Tab.


OMGGGGgg. This should have been part of the teasers, reddit would have a field day.

Also, resetting the board after beating the MM means most players will still opt to not do MM.

I was so freaking hyped about playing a zombie build as my main, how are you compensating the nerf? How can you make zombies useful with this change?


Case-in-point: I won't be.

Their basic attack damage is atrocious and I won't be building around it. After the 76% cooldown at level 20 is calculated in to the mix, their Slam cooldown is 3.8 seconds? That's a huge nerf compared to the 1.25s cooldown you can bring their Slam to in the current meta. Not only that, but you are losing the huge amount of Slam damage increase you can give to them via the Ascendency and the Violent Dead jewels. In addition, their AoE radius is not stated to be baked in to the gem either.

Slam is the only reason to build Zombies as a damage-dealer. It never misses, and even accounting the slow animation speed with the nerfed Multistrike jewel, it's still their best option for dealing damage. I cannot possibly see how Zombies are recoverable without making them the highest 200k health meatshields that you can, and consequently detonating them on enemies. I refuse to play them unless that crap in the notes is reversed.

It's abhorable that they would give such blatantly strong buffs to Skeletons and Spectres, and yet nerf Zombies as a damage-dealer so heavily in favor of making them nothing but a sponge.

They can't be dropped or given from quests.

But they might still be able to be found via divination cards. Four different cards have a chance to reward Violent Dead, 2 of which narrow down to unique jewels specifically.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

Dominating Blow
Now has a 25% chance to summon a Normal Sentinel of Dominance when you hit a unique monster (from 10%).
Summoned Sentinels can now use Crusade Slam regardless of Ascendancy. Previously, this required a specific Guardian notable.

Exactly so. But they baked on some 76% cooldown recovery speed for their Slam on to the gem it self, as if that would solve any problem. And it won't. Not even close.

That's a small hope, but I am honestly not holding my breath. That's an incredibly dumb way of making a low-cost, strong, niche Summoner build like this build even remotely viable...

Will Vis Mortis be worth using after this change? It doesn't even give +1 to spectre gems (or they forgot to mention if it did)

Zombie Slam nerf is mitigated a bit by the increased zombie accuracy. However, the loss of increased AoE to it from the Necromancer ascendancy is a big nerf unless they baked that in (there's no mention of that, though)
