[3.10] Gryph's Volatile Dead Necromancer || Fun, Medium Budget, Tanky, Millions of DPS

Hi
really like this build
how do i cap my reist?
check my profile :)
got 10ex to spend
Just 6 linked myself a Shavs Wrappings and was thinking about low life version with Zealot's Oath of some sort. Would this work ? I know there's a socket starving in this build but it makes me wonder.
Hi, Im kinda new to this build (so sorry for newb questions) and I am just trying to figure out how it works and can't seem to understand.

I am trying the Cyclone-VD setup and i am killing myself with the damage taken from the helmet. My ascendancies are completed.

For the moment I only got these items from the gear (To poor atm):

Scold's bridle:
CWDT (1)
Desecrate (1)
Assassin's Mark (5)
Spell cascade

Martyr of innocence:
CWDT (1)
Spirit offering (8)
Ball lightning (1)
Purifying flame (11)
Combustion (16)

Carcass Jack:
Inspiration
Cyclone
VD
CWC
Elemental Focus

Doedre's Malevolance:
CDWT
Flesh offering
Bone offering
Summon Chaos Golem

+/-Leash of oblation belt.

I am aware that I don't have a body armour with the +25% effect of offering so I tried removing the belt and just keep the spirit offering. But i still keep dying from the damage.

I can't figure what I am missing out :S Can someone share light? Thank you very much.

Having the time of my life with this build! have no issues taking down T16 beefy metamorphs (just have to stay far away and let balls do the work lol).

Just crafted a dual curse ring so I can switch out my ele weakness on hit gloves for enfeeble. I will be tri cursing with Enfeeble + ele weak + ass mark.

Here is the ring:

Total cost was 2ex + 130c.

Also sold my CwC staff as martyr ended up being better with 6 links. I really wanna get some more chaos res, maybe get Prescence of Chayula or sneak some more chaos res on gear.

Hope your feeling better Gryph and thanks for this great build!

Thanks! getting better and home! That is a really sweet ring!

Oddly when I am PoB'ing CWC staves I am getting damage boosts from decent ones. 15-25% more damage depending on *how* good the staff is.

I'm looking at your profile and not seeing this setup :P
Looks like you're trying my old self cast budget version. Which is totally fine if you're comfortable with that playstyle. But drop soul tether as you have no life leech anywhere. That's a bad time.

As for the other matter, No leash without Offering Chest. And with no leash,. no bone/flesh offering. A lot of what you'll need is levels and/or an extra source of ES recovery. ES on hit with Fenumus Spinnerets+Aspect of the Spider is a pretty inexpensive source of it and works wonderfully for offsetting damage and boosting recovery. You can also allocate Light Eater and Ghost Reaver for 5 points for the ES leech; this was good enough for me until I got Spinnerets. Physical mitigation also helps. Soul of Gruthkul (5%), Chaos Golem (4%) Endurance charges from Charging Offensive (12%) all add up and help smooth out the damage.

Short answer: Yes it works, but I'm not doing the thinking for you. :P

It is a lot harder to gear (if that's even possible AMIRIGHT?!?!)
You don't actually get a lot more damage in the end.
Still want life on gear (Spirit Offering Scales off of Base Life)

Go for it if you want, the tree is more or less the same with some obvious changes. (Take more ES nodes, fewer life. Duh.)

There's at least 1 guy on Ninja taking my build to LL already, try referring to his tree.

It's okay. I'd try rolling it again personally.

If you were to multimod it,

Spell Damage+Non Chaos as Extra Chaos
Critical Strike Chance for Spells.

First of all...my 3.9 update info is a LOT more than 4 sentences. I make use of spoilers to try and keep clutter to a minimum, try clicking on them :P

There are many iterations because...well there are many ways to play and gear etc...Flexibility. If I say "do exactly these specific things" then it restricts options.

How to explain this....

Basically there are several stages of the build and at any given point gear, gem, and passive options are more or less ideal than at other stages. My characters are not meant to be COPIED but used as reference points. I'm still on a relatively low budget on this build. So you're right, I don't have mana reserve right now because I don't need it to run

Aspect of the Spider
Herald of Ash
Discipline

But I'm only really using Aspect of the Spider because I have

So it's not worth trying to fit a 50% aura when I have to use aspect for the ES on hit.

But when I get the Watcher's Eye, I will drop the boots+Aspect. THEN I'll specc into the aura nodes I need and run Zealotry (or Anger).

There are options because there are so many ways to do it right or "good enough" and I like to let people think for themselves and choose what they themselves like; it's what gives this game its depth.

Anyways, I'll keep combing through and cleaning it up as I have been doing since I understand stuff changes. I only just got home after 5 days in the hospital so I'd like to actually get some play time in.

That said, I am not above answering questions because I know that this build can be a bit hard to grasp.

Hello,

Can you tell me what nodes you will choose when you will have Watcher's eye please?

I've go a Circle of Anguish. How can I have Ash and Anger?

I will pick up the Sovereignty Cluster and figure it out from there.

With enough Reserve you should be able to fit Discipline+HOA+Anger. You may need an enlighten.
Any ideas what to upgrade in regards to damage?
Guess I have to fiddle in pob with a CWC staff.
Auls w/ zealotry already?

Budget 30ex+
Hi

im a bit frustrated cause i cant sustain the channeling. i run directly out of mana even with arcane surge and 20% dmg modifier to mana :(

someone got an idea?
