Not "necessary" at all. Swapping my Watcher's Eye for another rare jewel similar to my other one brings me down from 14m to 13m shaper DPS.

Also, are you looking at your shaper dmg or your map damage? My map damage is much lower because I use Melee Splash. I dont like the feel of melee physical while mapping. Need more aoe/ancestral call/splash/something. Just relying on proliferation feels kinda bad.

I do 15.3m Shaper DPS with max wither stacks, but I only do 10.6m mapping dps.

I use Viper strike, too, which is like 40-50% more damage than Pestilent. So if you are using ancestral call on your Pestilent and looking at map DPS, 3.3m dont sound that far off. Like, my map DPS with pestilent is something like 5.4m.

Also, if you are using cluster jewels you gotta activate those. PoB doesnt fill those in. For awhile I thought my DPS was kinda low, turns out I didnt have my cluster jewels filled out.

Although I'm running alround pretty clueless in the endgame, I could manage to find an improvement in the skillboard: refund 2x4% hp nodes next to "Thick Skin" and allocate 2x 4%Hp+8%Evasion next to "Revenge of the Hunted". Nets 16% increased evasion.

Are these weapons good enough or should i dig for that atk speed on both ?

First of all, thanks a lot for this build it feel really great !

I use the venom gyre variant and i encouter a little difficulties with poison damage. I check my POB for like 5 hours and dont find my problems...

Can you help me ? (first league i use POB so please be gentle !)

I know i don't use extra mods for poison damage on POB but i don't think it will push my 1.6m damage to 6-7m.
I think i have an issue with my attack speed...

you should be fine with those they are very similar to what i've got and im through sirus awakening 6 now. Mine have crafter damage over time mult instead of atk spd but they're similar. lots of room to improve but you can safely focus on defense for a while.

Your cluster jewel is not activated in PoB(I dunno if you forget to apply points on your own, but PoB wont apply them). Your gems arent quality'd. Id drop the quicksilver flask for a silver flask so you have onslaught.

I changed to Viper strike so I'd have something better to base it on, since thats what I use.

Turning on onslaught, pushing your gems and quality to 20, filling out your cluster jewel(it doesnt do it by default, you have to fill it in), my PoB says you would do 15.7m shaper dps, with Viper Strike, with the gear you have.

So its pretty much the same. Now Pestilent is gonna be like half that on bosses. Its just weaker on bosses, and since you literally use the same everything, I'd just pick up a viper strike if for nothing else, to use on Sirius and other bosses. Its just a straight 50% dmg increase without changing anything else.

Do you have the community fork for PoB so it works with your claws and multistrike? I didnt compare pestilent because your Viper Strike damage is basically the same as mine, so that means Pestilent is, too.

But yea, same setup, just using Pestilent on your gear is 8m shaper dps(So turning on your cluster jewel, Onslaught, and leveling your gems to 20/20 gained 1.5m dps over what you said). Swapping to Viper, its 15m. Since thats literally all you have to change to do 50% more boss dmg, I'd invest in a Viper strike to swap in for Sirius, Shaper, Elder or any hard bosses.
