Who here is good at calculating damage?

" Yeah it was a fight that spawned 3 snakes, I died and porting back in got me insta killed, I wasn't standing in the center, the snakes just blew me up in about 100 milliseconds upon entering through the portal, I'm at 5k life, 3k ES at the moment. edit: I did kill him on the 5th try. I'll share my thoughts but keep in mind, as in 3.8, one of the beautiful things about this build is it's versatility. There are lots of options to suit any preference and playstyle. In saying that, my thoughts are: 1) death attunement 2) minion damage. Although I have Maim in the guide and POB, that was just to mimick the loss of Maim. Minion damage or even minion speed would be better. 3) my preference is auras. 4) this is where there is LOTS of flexibility and I tend to mix it up often depending on what I'm doing. Eg mapping = more offensive, delving = more defensive. So I would say there is not one perfect setup. It's personal preference. My 2 main options I run are: Defensive: haste + dread banner + clarity + discipline + Enfeeble Offensive: haste + dread banner + clarity + flesh and stone (blood stance for main) + vulnerability [/quote] you still use flesh and stone brun? if we dont use maim is there any point using that skill for offence? also why run clarity over disipline? Is anyone reliably doing t14-16 maps in league(NOT STANDARD) without getting 1 shot frequently?
Metamorph bosses specifically are giving me trouble, if I stand too far from them, my zombies and other minions come to me instead of staying on the boss, but many of the bosses have bullshit mechanics that you can't avoid and are 1 shots if you stay too close. isn't the brutality gem combined with spirit offering skill, a bad combination?
because with the brutality gem, the minions cannot do any chaos damage. so they do not profit from the "convert 30% of pysical damage to chaos damage" from the spirit offering skill. | |
