Cyclone CWC Blade Vortex ((About 20mill+ Shaper dps with everything up)
Circle of Nostalgia looks like a good idea. Mainly for the buff effect which is another 9%/10% more poison damage. The added phys it gives only applies to the minion.
I would also use this ring if I went with rare boots as right now I need the resists on my rings. I like the new boots though and it also makes Withering Step cooldown 1.67s. So can apply 6 stacks of Withered very quickly. Withering Step can also be used on the left-mouse button. Just hold it down and it will automatically cast when the cooldown is over whilst you still cyclone. Current gear: I just need to tweak resistances and get a better belt and it's done. Because I'm Eldritch Battery + Mind Over Matter, I think getting that "120ES regen per second when a rare or unique mob is nearby" would be useful on a belt. Just to make sure ES tops up quickly when things get hairy. That's really the only time I have trouble in high maps. When I'm constantly taking damage so my Cyclone keeps getting interrupted. Something I just realized is that my chaos resistance is almost capped with the promise flask up. Didn't even realize it. This build takes a few damage nodes that have chaos resistance and uses a few unqiues that have chaos resistance. So it's capped without even choosing to gear for it. What makes this build especially good against bosses (and other stuff) is that you can preload the damage so you hit the boss with 10 BV stacks, 3 shockwave totems, and other buffs instantly. Plus you can maintain that damage whilst also moving around with cyclone. Also Cyclone hits about 5 times a second and 10 stack BV hits about 8 times a second. So you get 13 stacks of Noxious strike 5% incr poison duration a second in the worst case scenario where there is just a single target to hit. so can hit 50 stacks (250% incr poison duration) against a single target if they last 4 seconds. During mapping etc. or if there is more than one mob, the stacks go up way more. I wonder if there is some cap on it. Last edited by SaiyanZ on Sep 21, 2019, 6:27:30 AM

Nice build.
What do u get for bandits and the other stuff?
" Alira as the crit multi and resistances are just too good. The mana regen also helps early on. Pantheon - Soul of Solaris seems best defensively. I haven't upgraded it as yet. Minor Pantheon - Not really anything useful here. I have been using Soul of Ryslatha for the life flask charges ever since I got it. Probably the most useful I think.
Just did T13 Basilica. Insta phased every part of the fight.
Also did T13 Carcass, Boss died as soon as she came in. No running away and 4 scorpion phase (also did the same when leveling in Act9)
Trying out the build and got pretty much everything. Trying to get used to the playstyle since I've never played poison. Stupidly enough I got the gloves last and noticed there are no Temporal Chains Embalmer on the market. Any idea how I can squeeze in another curse? Thinking of removing Desecrate and adding something there.
Also a crafted armor with Additional Curse would be the endgame goal here right? I don't really see Cospri's value compared to that but then again I'm new to this kind of build.
" Cospri's main value is the Hexproof mod. 60% poison chance allows you to drop the Poison support for Unbound Ailments as well, but the dps difference is not massive. So Cospri's is decent all round and cheap because many people 6L these (I got my 6L for 200c). Compare that to what a good 6L life armour with +1 curse will cost. The build also doesn't really need the +1 curse on body armour as you can just spend 4 points to get it on the tree. So I'm mainly using Cospri for the Hexproof mod and because it is cheap. I'm surprised that all the Temp Chains Embalmer are gone. Think I paid like 30c for mine. There's so many of these cheap gloves though so they shouldn't be hard to acquire. The main curse is Despair so I used a cheap Despair on hit gloves until I could afford the amulet. You could also go with an Embalmer Despair on Hit gloves and Solstice Vigil amulet for the free Temp Chains blasphemy. This combo is more expensive though and Impresence is just a better amulet for poison. Plus I think Temp chains on hit is more useful as it applies to totem hits as well. So it's good for slowing down things (Blight) on the other side of the screen. I also put my CWDT in my weapon and removed Desecrate. Did this to put Despair in the boots instead of weapon. This way I can weapon swap to quickly start rampage during a map. It's free rampage so why not... My current gem setup which I think won't change from now: Last edited by SaiyanZ on Sep 22, 2019, 8:21:34 AM

Ok I see your points about the armor but I'm going to try a crafted one once I amass some more currency. I did have a bit to spend so I managed to get Impressence.
Also I've tried doing my Guardian maps. They are corrupted so its a bit tricky but the Hydra went down easy and quite fast. And that is with my inexperienced hands. It was like the fourth map I tried with the build. Chimera I did not manage to kill. It seems like the times I've died its because of MoM. I end up with 0 mana and stand still in one place where they just mail me in a few hits.
" Yeah Chimera is going to be the toughest Guardian to fight with this build. The smoke phase is the dangerous part where you are not super fast to just end it and it's RNG if you don't get the right smoke cloud fast enough. I had trouble with him on that phase so maybe I'll bring a Flame Dash just for that phase to try and end it quickly. Every other endgame boss without phases should just die if you damage them for a couple seconds even if you die and they are still on 50%+ HP. The poison will do the work so just have to wait a few seconds before resurrecting whilst watching them die. Another option to avoid the mana issue is drop MoM and go with Phase Acrobatics instead. I prefer MoM though as dodging is just RNG. Last edited by SaiyanZ on Sep 22, 2019, 8:43:22 AM

I'm going to try it without MoM for a few maps and see how it goes. Most of my mana is reserved anyway. But doesn't that render the energy shield useless? We get Eldritch Battery from the helmet so how exactly does that work?
| |
" Yeah, the Eldritch Battery from Devouring Diadem is mainly for MoM and the top up of ES/Life every 5 seconds. Without MoM, Eldrich Battery is sort of a waste for this build. So the helmet isn't as useful. |
