Hey I'm an OG Lightning Trap fan, have played this build a bunch of leagues, thanks for keeping it up to date!
Ok so after a bunch of Sirus and Mavens with the setup I posted last evening I've decided I hate doing the Arcanist brand setup in the POB. I adjusted my rings and jewels to fit in an Assassin's Mark ring. We can 4-link our CWDT setup to automate a lot, I'm doing: " This gives us two extra sockets leftover, I just threw in Precision and Vaal Righteous Fire. You could do Hydrosphere instead of RF but I don't want to bother placing it. Sirus and other big bosses are much nicer without having to worry about Arcanist Brand uptime. ****REVIEW OF THIS BUILD FROM MY PERSPECTIVE**** ************************************************ I have been playing this build for the past 2 leagues and it is amazing fun. BUT... As you advance through the game to ENDGAME you face with a wall that you cant really pass with this one.... Farming NEM3 with full juiced delirium for example is not possible due to one thing... traps aint instant damage! You need to throw and wait for them to blow, leaving some time for hits to hit you from every direction, specially in high populated maps like NEM3 JUICED MAP ENDGAME FARMING. Also, simulacrum lvl 30 is almost impossible to to the same mechanic... mobe density. Dont get me wrong again... this build is fun like hell and i love it... but next league im afraid i have to switch to something like deadeye since my PoE knowledge has improved to a point i need something stronger to beat even harder content. " i have a little added fire damage for the explosive expert perk, i don't have cold damage. My damage mainly is lightning damage and extra chaos damage. But the prismatic jewel now is very expensive, just wonder the extra 5% damage pen worth the price. |

I really hope this build doesn't get nerfed or 'changed' too much, I tested it during Scourge and I want to make it my League Starter (and League ender).
Thanks for all the guides, I learned a lot. the importance of ES on gear, the crafting, playstyle etc. ! |

I can certainly appreciate the time and effort you put into this guide as people such as myself are not good at theory crafting and unlike most of the guides I've seen, yours is extremely easy to follow with the layman's terms and info. Running this build now, still early-mid level but loving its clear ability and little to no multitasking with skills! Thank you!! I would definitely consider this a pro tip!

Cluster Traps Support: Supported Skills now deal 61% less Damage at gem level 1 (previously 55%), and 55% less at gem level 20 (previously 36%).
Lightning Trap: Now deals 15 to 46 Lightning Damage at gem level 1 (previously 18 to 54), up to 659 to 1978 at gem level 20 (previously 466 to 1399). Now has 240% Effectiveness of Added Damage at all gem levels (previously 170%). Added Lightning Damage Support: Supported Skills now have 1 to 8 added Lightning Damage at gem level 1 (unchanged), up to 19 to 358 at gem level 20 (previously 21 to 402). Awakened Added Lightning Damage Support: Supported Skills now have 21 to 391 added Lightning Damage at gem level 1 (previously 23 to 445), up to 24 to 449 at gem level 5 (previously 29 to 543). Tier 1 added Lightning Damage to Spells now provides values of 7-20 to 255-270 on two-handed Weapons (previously 5-15 to 189-200), and 4-14 to 170-179 on one-handed Weapons (previously 3-10 to 126-133). Make Marks permanent so they only require a single cast for boss encounters. Add a new support gem that lets attacks trigger marks on hitting Rare and Unique targets.-- nice change If you find something else please let us know :D |

" I basically got a net zero change for Lightning Trap by doing: Set woke Added Lightning damage to level 1 Set Lightning Trap to level 20 and add "Lightning Trap deals 41% more damage" somewhere Set Cluser Traps to level 1 |

" I would wait until the final numbers in the patch notes but I strongly hope they won't nerf down this build. I plan to league start this and really hope the author will have the time to do an extensive check again when patch notes come out ;) |
