Hi I have a Question, probably answered somewhere but I could not see.
About the APS breakpoints. 7.57 with 14% CDR. Below you say we can get the required CDR from Awakening Gem 3+.

Question: Does the CDR apply to Cyclone, or to Ice Nova?
I ask because, I see you also have another Ice Nova Setup in Cospi, and the Weapon does also have 150ms Cooldown or not?

So would it not be advisable to not get the Awakening Gem, instead on Gear to have the CRD applied to both Skills?

Sorry for silly Question, I just don't like things that could possibly not be "optimal"

Is there a better way to craft the large cluster other than spamming reforges with an element more common/spamming alts? Currently spamming reforges and hoping for something to work with noncold -> cold but chances don't seem too good.

That way isn't bad because it's basically free but it's still going to be super rare to hit Blanketed Snow/Widespread Destruction.

For a budget jewel I'd just buy a Vengeful Commander/Prismatic Heart/Widespread Destruction combo jewel on an 8 passive 10% elemental damage base for 100c. That's a perfectly valid endgame jewel and very cheap. You could probably get it even cheaper by buying or rolling Prismatic Heart/Widespread Destruction on a base and Harvest augmenting fire.

There's no reason to chase Blanketed Snow until the rest of your gear is set because you're going to have to pay a lot for a small power boost.

Edit: Preemptive F for this build. Back to being tier 2 after this league since deterministic crafting is being removed from the game. Too bad I had so much fun playing the build this league.

If you get CDR from awakened coc then it only applies to linked ice nova.
CDR from boots and/or belt applies globally to cospri and CD of gems socketed everywhere else.

You can easily confirm this by removing awakened CoC gem and checking CD of other skills like vortex/flame dash/immortal call/etc.

Cheap: Buy redeemer crystal belt that's already finished or throw a few frigid, dense, or prismatic fossils at a base and aug cold with suffixes full to put on damage to chilled enemies or cold damage or both.

Crusader belt: Roll with dense fossils. If you get a nice flat ES roll you can aug defense with suffixes full to force on crusader %ES. Aug caster and remove/add caster until T1 spell damage.

Crusader/Redeemer belt: Similar to rolling Crusader belt only harder because there's another garbage ES mod in the pool. Start with dense fossils on double influenced base and roll until you get ES/%ES rolls that are acceptable. Annul if the third prefix is bricked. Reforge keeping prefixes if suffixes are bricked. Aug caster and remove/add caster for T1 spell damage. With prefixes full aug lightning/fire and add/remove until it's a resistance tier you like. With suffixes full and the final prefix open aug cold and add/remove until T1 damage to chilled enemies.
