[3.11] Spellslinger VD Necromancer. All content. Easy and fast Sirus A8 kill. Wave 20 Simulacrum.

HI! first i want to say thanks, this is a great build. i enjoyed it a lot in harvest, and managed to kill sirus for 1st time with a 5-link impulsa and your recomended gear/gem setup.

tried CWC VD in past leagues but i think spellslinger in your build is pretty solid and tanky. Great Job!

right now lvl 95 and trying to reach lvl 100 with this build.
nvm, found it

Hey, one last update since I'm pretty much done with my gearing and setup. Also hit 100 couple days ago!

Final Gear

Spoiler

I'm very happy with the endresult. While still having 7500+ life, max block, Divine Flesh the dps for only relying on VD is insane. Last Sirus8 last phase went down in couple seconds before he got to do any special abilites.
Every item is min/maxed to a point where none of the prefixes/sufixes are dead stats (Even the Cluster jewel lets me have enough Dexterity to not need any of it on the passive tree.) All resistances are perfectly balanced out for The Wise Oak.

I was thinking to somehow make room for Herald of Ash, but I think my Wave of Conviction setup does more dmg than HoA, even with the special rings, and it applies Fire Exposure together with Combustion - which is -45 fire resistance) . All rare items with exception of jewels and Wand are selfcrafted. The latest addition was the belt, which took me about 3000 alch/scours to hit CDR + Elemental dammage, but rest was easily craftable with seedcrafting. The amulet in the end is just a bonus and shows how powerful the crafting can be in this league. Maybe I find a way to use but currently my Anger gives me more than 40% more dmg multiplier with the Watcher's Eye - so most likely not!

Next up I might try to craft a dual influenced helmet, Warlord/Hunter but with reduced mana reserved suffix from Essences, looking forward to it!

Anyway, thanks for the amazing buildguide, I took some ideas you had for last leagues and combined it with some of my theorycrafting and really happy with the endresult! No other league I've managed to get to this far creating a perfectly optimized character, will surely miss this league alot!

Where do you hide your Divine Orbs printing machine, I still don'y get how you divine your items to perfection other than spamming divines.

Gardening is amazing for targeted Divines! But whenever I craft something, I make sure that I will be able to divine it to perfect values, so the non targetable affixes will be divined before adding other items, or uncrafting prefix/suffix lock!
Add in some flowers, you will have hundreds of targeted divines stored up in your Horti stations!

Just to clarity, let's take this belt as an example!

The 2 mods that aren't targetable by specific garden divines are Cooldown Recovery Speed and Elemental Damage. Once I got them combined from Alch/Scouring, (In my case roughly 3000, was bit over average) Whenevrr I realized the belt was futher craftable and I could get all the mods with some blocking etc I divined them to perfect, 25 elemental damage and 20 cdr - Roughly 10 divines it took. Whenever I added the rest of mods via seedcrafting, I used 4 different Randomise crafts.

Randomise the numeric values of random cold modifiers until Increased Damage with Hits against chilled targets hit 40.

Randomise the numeric values of random life modifiers until Maximum Life hit 99.

Randomise the numeric values of random chaos modifiers until Chaos Resistance hit 35.

Randomise the numeric values of random caster modifiers until Spell damage during any flask effect hit 35.

And woila you have a perfectly Divined item!

And now you do the same with every other item. Jewels are very easy, just Area damage isn't targetable! On boots you only have to divine orb until Cooldown Recovery hits 15, rest can be targeted etc!

You can also use specific seedcraft to reroll Sufix/Prefix values with lucky value modifiers to get most of them perfect and then go on with finishing last couple targeted affixes!

Hope it clarifies abit how to do it!

This is awesome.
IGN - Ziddyroc
so i made a shift in my gear/gem setup tonight (and im out of vaal orbs so this current setup is my ride or die for a while). crafted out the red socket in my inpulsa so i can run hypo, and picked up this ring that cost more than i liked, but its a good dps boost

also, since i crafted away from inspiration gem on my chest, i had to chase down a helmet with the spellslinger enchant.

cant tell if i made the right choices, but like i said, i dont have the currency to swap everything back >.<

im also wondering if my skill tree needs to be adjusted with the changes i made (maybe some more life? only 5.7K HP atm). if anyone has an idea, let me know

Thank you for the info, it really slipped by me!
Hello,

in the "Endgame Gem Setup" -section of the guide, you mention two of the same variants for Frenzy links (even if you clarify it in the next sentence). Thought that it might be a mistake. Thanks for the guide :)!
