Delirium was unplayable for me before due to constant lags and freezes. But after the last two patches (and Shader Cache activated) the performance is back to normal and I can play PoE again! |

Most problems solved - some persist
Loading into a town now displays the people and no longer just the mainhand and offhand weapons with the rest coming after a lengthy delay. It's now like it used to be. Going to the mines now immediately produces the textured mine entrance and no longer a gray world which get' texturized after like 3 minutes. Looking at the Delve layout now shows the layout immediately - the black squares that used to be in some paths (although path textures had already loaded) are no longer a problem. On Act areas performance is how it used to be - even in a busy zone inside Delirium - smooth gameplay. Maps ... well ... MANY maps are ok. They are more st-ut-te-ri-ng than the Act zones (even without Delirium active) and you see the latency jump between 12ms to 65ms. But it is playapble. On some maps, though, as soon as you load in, the latency goes from 50 minimum to 400ish - without Delirium. This persists even when the map has been fully cleared (0 monsters left). It almost seems as if the client was trying to load something that just isn't coming and keeps trying, trying, trying. It's only ever one map out of, say, four and you can zone out, log out, restart the game and enter the map again ... it remains with this high latency. |

Unfortunately, I have the opposite experience of HtFde.
Nothing really changed for me with this patch. Grey world without mobs, effects, textures...still loading and loading. In map it took 5min+ to stabilize this. Still spikes. Even in hideout it take lot of time to load everything. Can give further details if needed. Hope you guys realize how to fix this soon. " I can see why they're DDosing. This league is absolute dogshit. First one I quit by day 2 ever. Not even remotely interested in replaying this atlas a 2nd time. Shuffle the shit again. It's already boring af endless grinding. SSF, because Path of Trade RMTers and bots suck.

First 2 maps are usually slideshow but the longer I play the less 0 FPS drops.
At least it's a little more stable and not rendered mobs hit me less. |

just lag - every single day since start. Not a single patch solved it yet. It clearly shows that there is not much to expect when it comes to issues related to the backend, not the code.

So, I ended up downloading the client from the site and compared it to the steam version. The steam version is pretty hectic compared to the site client. Steam takes longer to load models and textures which end up giving large fps spikes that are strong enough to get you killed (My computer won't stop screaming at me telling me there's something wrong.). The site client seems to have the same issue, however, it loads things faster than steam and there's pretty much no lag spikes or missing models, maybe even textures. I tried reinstalling the game for steam, it didn't help. Maybe it'll help you all, it's worth a try.
