So I managed to take down Drox with 2 stones but it was painful - I only died once when I missed a heal but it took 27 minutes for me to kill him. NO joke that took forever.. I still need to level my gems so hoping it will get better..
In game since Minotaur League..

" Sadly, the Chieftain ascendancy that you are missing makes a pretty big impact, so without that I don't think the build will ever work well. But if next league you go for this build properly, and get the Chieftain as intended, you will find it will work much better. Drox with 2 stones is no-sweat for me right now, using this build. |

Well looking through my characters I found a lvl 69 Hc Chieftain from a few leagues ago.. Ill go suicide him and play him for a few weeks until the new league.. Haha !!

So after thinking about how to change up this build I realized something: The Ball lightning link is pretty inefficient. We are using an entire 4L to do just 2 things: Apply a curse, and do non-fire damage. The second can be done in many ways, including by Cylcone and lightning/cold dmg to attacks.
Cursing through Cyclone would be ideal since its range is larger than RF so anything would get cursed before getting inside RF. And there are a few ways to go about this. 1; We could drop the Fortify gem, and move Cyclone to a 4L with Inspiration, Curse on hit and Flammability. To retain fortify I've found two options that feel realistic: - Shaper influenced 2H swords can have "Melee Movement Skills have [30-50]% chance to Fortify on Hit". - Elder influenced 2H weapons can have "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 1 Fortify" - Elder influenced boots can have "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Fortify" This leaves us with an empty 3L we can use. Also, we could get our 6L RF from an Elder helmet that has "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Burning Damage" + "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Concentrated Effect" Going further, this could be a starting point for a Kaom's Heart build. How about this: Kaom's Heart chest (preferably with a good corruption, like -6% Fire damage taken) Elder boots * "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Fortify" - Cyclone - Inspiration - Curse on Hit - Flammability Elder helmet "6L" * "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Burning Damage" * "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Concentrated Effect" - RF - Inspiration - Elemental focus - Efficacy 6L 2H weapon - CwDT - | Wave of Conviction - | Purifying Flame - | Combustion - | Stone Golem [Supported by Combustion!] - | Holy Relic [Supported by Combustion!] Any gloves (ideally with corruption: +# to Level of Socketed Gems/Aura Gems. "Hands of the High Templar" could be fun.) - CwDT - | Immortal Call - Malevolence - Purity of Fire Unset ring - Flame Dash (or movement skill of choice) Unset ring - Enduring Cry & Any belt -- OR -- Elder belt * Grants Level 22 Enduring Cry Skill & Any ring Any amulet The above build requires to get very specific gear in almost all slots, but in return retains all of the gems (or their effects) from the original. "Hey StormHUN! I'm really sorry for the late response! I forgot to post on my guides that I was going away for over a week. I'm sorry to make you wait. There's only so much that can be done around surviving lag. It's a hard circumstance to be in. Pure defence of offence, like you said, is a huge help, but it does take the damage out of the game for the non-laggy moments...which are more frequent. Adding Enfeeble instead of Flammability would be a huge step. Especially if you got rid of Malevolence for it. It'd even give you the space for Artic Armour if you wanted. The items you listed would be a big help obviously. Lag is a hard thing to plan around. You obviously know what you're doing...but I think the hard answer is the sacrifice of damage. I'll keep replying to the other posts and see what you've come up with. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Hey mastermacros! I'm really sorry for the late response! I forgot to post on my guides that I was going away for over a week. I'm sorry to make you wait. Thanks for taking the time to be so kind :). I'm glad to hear you like the filters. They dont' have an official place for feedback so it's nice to hear. Thank you. I don't have a build for bows but for easy one-button playing, Caustic Arrow is really good with either an Occultist or Trickster. Ballista Totem Support is really cool for non-DOT bow skills too...or a DOT that can have multiple applications to it (like poison). BUT if you go with a "self-casting" DOT like Caustic Arrow, you don't even have to focus on accuracy. So if you're new to bow builds, it's a good introduction. I love Elemental Hit with Ballista Totems...but it's hard to choose which type of damage to focus on (Crit, Ailments, general damage, etc). But EH would be great with the Raider. I know the response is late, but maybe that gets your mind jogging? Sorry I don't have a guide ready for you. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast Last edited by Wrecker_of_Days#7691 on Sep 6, 2020, 12:19:25 AM

"Hey StandardFiend! I'm really sorry for the late response! I forgot to post on my guides that I was going away for over a week. I'm sorry to make you wait. I'm glad all is well. Hope is an amazing thing. I hope it proves true and that "normal" returns soon. I'll be praying for you (seriously). (In my little pocket of the world people say that apathetically.) A lore playthrough! Good for you! I've always wanted to do one! I really wish I had gotten around to it earlier on as each character has such cool dialogue through the campaign. PS4 does seem to have more issues that Xbox in terms of crashes. I don't have a PS4, but a lot of the issues that people mention to me when they play my builds on console, don't seem to happen to me while I play. Though, this game is so complex behind the scenes, who knows what the issue could be. That being said, I have my fair share amount of "rubberbanding" and minute-long lags. Cyclone in Delve? Yikes. Blight with lots of minions? Also yikes. My filters revolve around my gameplay on console. Console life is the main reason I take filters so seriously. I want to pick everything up so that I don't have to flick that right-analog stick. It takes getting used to for sure. It's kind cool though playing a different way, even when it's the "same" build. It's amazing how much we learn about the game even with small changes. Good for you trying it out. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Blight is hard for builds that don't have big AoE's or that are defence-first. Most people leave their Blighted maps Normal (white). The quantity of the map doesn't change the Blight chests' outcome. Maybe try that? https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Hey Hansen_Haryono! I'm really sorry for the late response! I forgot to post on my guides that I was going away for over a week. I'm sorry to make you wait. The Sirus fight takes a lot of getting used to. A LOT. It's poorly done and takes forever to get back there. Hang in there. Hopefully one day they'll change it. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast
