Hi! I love the build, such a fun spell to use but I'm having some troubles with survival and bursting down bosses.
I die a lot in maps to random trash and I'm far from draining the health of bosses, basically I do no damage to T14+ bosses. Could some kind soul please take a look at my pob and give me some pointers? https://pastebin.com/RKu6rftd | |

" Thank you so much for the pointers, I've upgraded a little bit and learned more how to actually play the build. For example instead of spamming bladefall I now throw it once and detonate so it goes up to 4 with unleash every time. I've added divine flesh to the build and the survival is a little better but far from what me personally would call HC available. I can zoom a bit more in maps but I still feel like a big questionmark on where I get the damage to just smelt bosses like in the videos on the first post. " I believe the vaal Grace is just used for the vaal ability, not the aura. If you wanted to fit Flesh and Stone, Pride, Herald of Purity, and War Banner, you can get passive nodes with reduced mana reserve OR get a medium cluster with Master of Command. | |

" You'll want to Awakener Orb a chest with the Explode Mod and a Chest with the Frenzy mod together. If you get stuff with other removable affixes, you can remove those via Harvest and then craft from there. You can also alt spam a Crusader/Redeemer ilvl 85+ chest until you see the Frenzy mod, then do some Physical Harvest crafts to get the explode mod, then go from there. I didn't craft my own chest from scratch as buying one with those two mods and then Harvest crafting from there can be easier IMO. | |

For defense: - no max res shield - Doesn't look like you have 85% chaos res - No leech - Levels (obviously you're only level 87 so that'll come with time) - Not much life Offense: - Your wand isn't that good - No faster casting support gloves for Bladefall - No frenzy mod on chest - Level 4 Empower - Awakened gems - Bottled Faith | |
" As another poster mentioned, we only use Grace for access to Vaal Grace. You shouldn't use the actual aura, just pop Vaal Grace in dangerous situations. | |

Any advice you can give me? I saw your advice on bjoorn and looked at his POB and I don't even have the kind of DPS he does, though I do have much more ES.
I can cast unlimited spells, so no shortage or concerns there. I have lowish life (4154 life at level 83) but I just obtained some physical leech from a node that got conquered by the vaal with my timeless jewel so now have pretty solid life sustainability but there are some things, namely bleed, that mess me up quick. I don't feel weak, but I do feel that if I don't pay close enough attention I could die quick. Physical damage REALLY eats me up. I have Divine Flesh and 75/75/75/85 resists and I have a helm with 10% physical taken as cold but it still feels like physical hurts me a lot. " There's a few things you can change to get tankier: - Get more levels. This one is kind of obvious, but more levels will mean a bigger life pool. - Getting more damage. Killing things before they can kill you is one of the best defensive mechanisms. Your wand could be much better, same with your amulet and shield. - More/better life rolls. - Better flasks. Look at the flasks section of the guide and follow what I used there. You don't need two life flasks and you don't need a mana flask. You can use a Basalt/Granite flask if you'd like, instead of a Sulphur. As far as playstyle, make sure you are keeping Fortify up and casting at the edge of your screen so you can off-screen mobs. |
