OMG is Phase Run working like this?

1. Have 3 frenzy charges
2. Initiate slam
3. Use Phase Run, consume 3 frenzy charges, get a move buff for about 7s
4. Passive Disciple of the Slaughter restores 1 minimum frenzy charge
5. Slam hits the ground, have move buff, no attack damage buff yet
6. Monsters are dying, the same passive is generating frenzy charges from kills
7. Running away with ~5s left from the move buff, apply warcry, waiting for Fist of War to recharge
8. Initiate slam, the move buff is now replaced with the attack damage buff
9. The attack damage buff is 0.8s because of the consumed frenzy charges when Phase Run was used
10. Not using Phase Run here because we don't want to overwrite the existing instance of it
11. Slam hits the ground within 0.8s because of the increased attack speed from 3 frenzy charges we regained while was having the move buff
12. ???

Can someone help me understand it?

I've played this build but completely ignored the Phase Run part because I can't get it...
BTW still great and very satisfying playstyle. Thanks for the guide!

The eventuality rod doesn't have good block chance, therefore bad for defense

I haven't looked at what the new unique can do yet. But if we are able to get any Marauder's ascendency point, then Beserker's War Bringer, Aspect of Carnage looks pretty strong

our build doesn't rely on too much on ignite damage, also we need combust to gain power charge and possibly apply assassin's mark this league. Therefore currently I do not plan to use the new infernal cry jewel.

Your gem setup in 3.17 can you give some insight how it will be ? i would like to put anger with enlinghteen 5 link on weapon then ancestral warchief 3 link or 2 link just to multiple totems and ancestor buffs.Or 6 link warcries flame dash second wind, phase run, blood rage some of that

It's much easier than you thought.

From my in-game testing, the damage buff is already applied when you use phase run.

You can test it in hideout yourself too: put your cursor on the slam and watch for its tooltip damage. Then use keyboard to activate phase run and notice how damage changed immediately after phase run.

It would be mostly be the same, except for the infernal cry, which I need to experiment a bit.

Alright after some experimentation on POB, it seems like going with elemntal weakness + flammability setup is the best option. I have updated the POB and gear section accordingly.

Hello, I started the league with SH build, but I'm really disapointed about it. I want to restart a different build and I find this build.

So I have some questions

Do this build is a good league start ?

How many input, or button do you use to do work this build ? I love build where you juste slay monster where you are just chilling with one or 2 button, does this build work like this ?

Hi, to answer your question, this build is a good league start build (as mentioned in the beginning of the guide).

However, this isn’t a lazy build. It requires pressing all buttons to play effectively. Please check out Q&A about keybinding
