[3.25] One shot Tectonic Slam Chieftain. Great Damage and Survivability. Melting all content.

First time trying this build (or similar onces) and I love most of my time with it! I do seem to struggle a bit with Uber Elder (haven't tried Maven so far) with gear somewhere between mid-crit and early end-game due to ground degens covering the map...Perhaps I just have to git gud?

A question about the boots though. I currently have these
since the league-starter version of the build. The boots suggested second in the upgrade order of the early end-game build focus on even more attacks speed and movement speed via the enchantment, elevated onslaught, and tailwind on crit. Is there a point for that attack speed in boss fights since we can only attack in full force every so often? Or is that just for zooming faster through maps? The elusive on the late end-game boots are another layer of defence, which seems more logical to invest in if you don't mind zooming a bit slower whilst I still reach ~0,75s attack time. I currently rely heavily on the linked boots for reaching res cap, so having to regear entirely for more zooming seems like a bit too much effort atm. Or is there a mechanic that I am missing here?

Furthermore, instead of the elemental weakness ring I tried an unset Flammability ring with Assassins mark socketed because of the new infinite mark duration to get that bit of extra crit to reach that 100% ('dual curse' ring :p). Slap the mark on bosses once and you are good to go most of the time. However in some fights, such as Uber Elder, you have to reapply it between phases or bosses, which can mess up your rhythm a bit. I guess its how much that socket is worth to you to consider it instead of the ele weakness ring.

Also quick POB question, how gets the enemy in the POB covered in ash and why aren't they marked shocked (via the skitter bots?)

Full gear + POB for the interested:

So as far as I can see in PoB there are some easy options to increase dmg further if there aren't any insane (3 x multi) rare Jewels socketed yet.
Forbidden Flame/Flesh combo for
-Arohongui (enemies near totems take 16% inc phys & fire) [cheap]
-Flawless Savagery (flat phys, multi, crit chance) [meduim]
-Aspect of Carnage (40% more dmg, take 10% inc dmg) [very expensive]

War bringer was talked about aswell but I have not looked into that one really. Once I have the build setup I might just swap some around and try it out. I am still very new to warcries, exerted attacks and rage since I mostly play bow/spell builds.

Is there is usefull way to slot a mageblood into the build for bosses?
With alchemist prefix and effect orb enchant the crit can be boosted even higher. In addition to that some nice defensive bonuses with more armor.
But I can't see a way to put in more magic utility flask instead of some of the uniques since they all give really big dmg. Any suggestions?

Yeah there are many useful forbidden flame/flesh combos we could try, but at the same time we are sacrificing 2 jewel slots.

Two normal jewels will give us 14% increased life, 40% crit multi, maybe some additional resistance / attack speed too.

In my opinion, the only ascendancy that might be worthy of taking is warbringer, if we could sustain rage. But I encourage you to give them a try.

About mageblood, you could use silver/diamond/granite/quicksilver + bottled faith.

Hi guys, i feel like my build isn't working properly, it takes too long to kill boss and i often die, i'm transitioning to early end game build and i'm trying to level to 95. This is my second league so i'm probably missing something or doing something wrong. Would you mind checking my PoB and tell me if it's a play style problem or a build problem and if possible how to solve it.

A question i wanted to ask is: What type of league mechanics or type of content do you think this build excels? Someone said delve feels great, and this is true you can clear the route so fast and feels satisfying, but if you go for side paths and fractured walls, it's a mess, you already need to press a lot of buttons and now you also need flares and dynamite while being fast in the dark, i tried it and was too muuch for me, might be because I'm a noob. So I'm curious what you guys think about the league mechanics or content for this build.

Having said that I'm really enjoying the build and I'm glad I found this post.

I checked your POB seems like your gear is mostly fine except that you are running two curses without the double curse mod on body armor. So I think it's mainly a play style thing. You can check out the comments I made several pages ago about meeting several conditions to increase burst damage. The play style definitely takes some practice to master it.

The build can do all content and is not particularly built for any mechanics. Delving is one of my favorite content with this build, after getting familiar with the play style of course.

Regarding attack speed, there's a detailed explanation in Q&A. But the short answer is attack speed is important for survival.

The assassin's mark adjustment is pretty nice, I guess this depends on how many extra buttons people are willing to press :)

about the cover in ash, it is done by infernal cry.

about skitter bots, the shock is already considered during damage calculation. You can go to calculation tab and check it out.

just started, good dps but i would not do it again as a league start, the build is too slow on maps with budget, so slow i thought that they nerfed EXP this league...

Thanks for the reply!

I read the Q/A and what I took from it was that as long as its under 1 second you're probably good to go. I personally had the feeling that I didn't need more and that I just have to pay better attention to positioning, but I guess that every bit of wiggle room helps in less expected situations.

Oh and for those who are interested I rebound ctrl+e/r/t to a/v/b.
a: assassin's mark (don't use corpse targeting for this build anyway)
v: warchief totem
b: vaal warchief totem

I have tectonic slam on right click and phase run on spacebar. v and b can be pressed with relative ease with the thumb I use for spacebar as well.

yeah, we only get to zoom-zoom after getting decent gears with good attack speed and movement speed.

for me a comfortable attack time in hideout unbuffed is ~0.88s, so that when buffed it can be reduced to ~0.6s

I haven't.

I heard good and bad things about it. Damage is good, but survivability is bad.
