Regarding Punishment:

can't trigger on-hit effects with this, right?

Also, wait a second:

"All curse skills have been reworked and are now divided into two categories: Hexes and Marks."

I thought punishment was neither a hex nor a mark?

Turns out that the sky isn't falling after all.
So no nerf for watcher eye on hit heal?
Those are literally the best mods on these watchers eyes, yet it's untouched?
With how vitality is changed, the on hit heal on vitality watcher eye gonna be the best mod ever. Can't wait to use it.


Also as regard for Assassin nerf, they lost like 29% crit multiplier and .5 crit chance. That's like 6~8% dps lost at end game. Big deal lolz.
I'm gonna make a prediction now, 35~40% usage for Assassin at week 3 next league since the nerf is neglectable and nothing else is buffed.
Patch Day is my favorite day because the public response is AMAZING.

I will admit that I was hoping for a bit more meta shake up, but upon reflection i think GGG nailed it.

One thing that we all have to consider is how impactful Harvest crafting was and how, coming into Heist, GGG is lacking a baseline to understand the present meta in the absence of Harvest crafting.

The short, highly focused (and IMO not overly dramatic or build breaking) note just reflect that they didn't want to over react knowing the past 3 months have been a complete alternate universe to normal play.

I wish there was more to nerd out about, but I honestly think they are doing the right thing and getting the ship back on course.

Did you just massacre a couple of totem builds?


There was no optimal scenario that you had the 10 curses stacked in your favor with the self flagellation, and besides that, its only a 80% inc damage nerf, it`s 100% safe to play totem builds
