Just tried every well-known isometric ARPG and Torchlight 3 is the best of them all.
I spent the last week trying out all the well-known ARPGs and Torchlight 3 ended up being the best one. The order goes like this from best to worst:
1. Torchlight 3 2. Last Epoch 3. Lost Ark 4. Path of Exile 5. Wolcen 6. Diablo 3 7. Grim Dawn However, I haven't tried Warhammer Chaosbane yet, so I don't know how that game compares to the rest. Last edited by Baurus_2021 on Feb 1, 2021, 1:07:42 AM Last bumped on Feb 4, 2021, 9:23:53 AM

I'm a Torchlight fan but honestly, Torchlight 3 sounds like a mixed bag where they want to MMO... and I'm not sure that's a good idea.
A remaster of TL2 would be better in my opinion. Also I'm a Grim Dawn fan and you've put it last on your list... below D3? Maybe you should play it more to see how deep it is, and how much attention to detail it has. P.S: Lost Ark? Seriously? " It's a new account and his first post was saying how lost epoch beats PoE in every way. |
|
" Last Epoch does beat POE, but Torchlight 3 beats Last Epoch. Sorry, but POE is not the best isometric ARPG out there. There are better ARPGs available than POE. |
|
Man you've put Lost Ark before PoE.
It's basically an over-hyped Bitcoin farming software with an Unreal Engine for eye candy. Complete with sexy female PCs because apparently you can't slay things without having porn-star tier breasts and a revealing dress (PoE Ranger disagrees). Cheesy shit of a game, which will be even cheesier once it actually comes out. And buggy Wolcen ahead of polished Grim Dawn? Last Epoch I haven't played yet, but the others on the list I've played extensively and/or am a fan of the series. completely disagree with your list. " Best in what aspects? Can you elaborate plx.
Torchlight 3 as the best ARPG? Are you high on crack?
|
|
Warhammer Chaosbane is good and the multiplayer works great!
NoX had the best multiplayer ever.
" Why should anyone put any stock in the rankings of someone who 'spent the last week' playing 7 titles, all of which (except ironically TL3) take a week minimum before you've really experienced what they have to offer? At least pretend like you've spent the past 'month' playing them, right? Make a good attempt. |

" Chaosbane is slightly above average i would say. Its great if you love the warhammer universe but for a ARPG it lacks endgame. The maps are nearly all the same, and enemies just have different color patterns. Atleast they went down with the price, at release it had cost 40€ for nearly no content at all. For warhammer 40k "inquisitor" is pretty good. Has more endgame, but nearly no multiplayer (you barley find players to play together) For the listing, yeah looks like a bait-account for worse game. I mean Grim dawn below D3, that alone shows the lack of research into the game. I also made the experience that korean games are mostly cash-grabs with tiddies and nearly naked female characters. Last epoch is great but lacks endgame content. Multiplayer should come later this year according to the roadmap. Last edited by Camatoo on Feb 1, 2021, 2:49:07 AM
