dead.. why do you bump the thread if there's no updates? I don't quite understand the need for it.

What do you mean? I'm just answering questions :P
huh.. maybe I don't understand the PoE forum software, I've just been seeing this message under the OP

Everyday the first 3-4 weeks of 3.17 where I was playing it kept updating, and I thought it was something you did manually.

Whenever someone writes in a thread it's bumped, that's how forums work :)
If no one writes anything the thread wont get bumped.

It's weird if this thread was edited the first month of this league cause I actually didn't play the first month. I league started very late this league.

Other people were playing and writing stuff here however, which bumped the thread.

If the thread got bumped because I edited the Original Post, then that's because I added things to the build guide after the first month.
At the top of the page in the 3.17-Content: spoiler you can see that I consistently added new videos showcasing the build in 3.17
This might've been the edits to the OP that bumped the thread.

[3.18] Sentinel League Update:
The new league is launching in a week so it's time to update the guide for the new league start. (Un)fortunately there's no balance changes this league so there's not much I have to do with the build.

What I do have to do is make some adjustments with the new items and things we've learned from 3.17 though cause the build guide and PoBs only reflect 3.16.
During 3.17 I made quite some changes that I think are far stronger. I'll post the PoB changes first in this post and deep dive into rewriting some parts of the build guide later this week.

For now, these are the newly updated PoBs for 3.18:
[3.18] Campaign and Acts:

[3.18] Post Campaign(White Maps):
https://pastebin.com/4NwFBx0R

[3.18] Mid Game(Yellow/Red Maps):

[3.18] Low Budget (~7.5 ex):

[3.18] Medium Budget (50+ ex):

Spoiler

Being a medium budget build is mostly predicated on the helm, wand and shield upgrade aswell as some of the most important gems. This is mainly Divergent Melee Splash gems. Everything else are items you craft or buy on your way to a high budget build. Keep in mind that x2 Awakened Multistrikes increase the PoB cost ALOT.

Some thoughts on 3.18:
As mentioned earlier, we'll go forward with the same version as we ended 3.17 with. There will be some differences for 3.18 but they're mostly related to the new chase uniques. The new crafting system might also open up some new possibilities for us.

One thing is clear though, Headhunter will be completely dead for minion builds going forward. They've removed all Aura modifiers from rare monsters so we won't be able to buff up our minions with broken Auras any longer.
For this reason, Mageblood will be the only high budget endgame belt for us.
On a lower budget, Stygians will be the prefered belt of choice.

Since this is a very high dps build I think all of us should run with the new Atlas Keystone that increases monster health by 50% but decreases monster damage by 25%. It's basically just slapping another defensive layer on top of us and we already oneshot everything so shouldn't be an issue.

ahh.. I've been wracking my brain on why I saw this when I didn't see any changes to the guide, and couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for the clarification.
Didn't they nerf/remove the hydrosphere interaction in 3.17?

Edit: nevermind, just saw your earlier post

Hello, in your budget 3.17 25 ex T14 AFK build I noticed that you have different GEM links. Could you please share what gems links are used? Mainly the Chest/Helmet since I see summon phantasms in there. You also have Warcry/Convocation on a Numblock trick I belive? Does convocation on CD help with the AFK?

I already answered you on Youtube but figured I could do it here to in case anyone else wonders the same thing.

Unfortunately, I've replaced most gear I had back then so I can't make a 100% replica PoB but I tried my best and made this which should be in the same price range.

Spoiler

This is the video in question where I was testing to AFK blighted maps on a budget. The tests were done on fully juiced corrupted rare blighted maps in the range of T14-16.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX7u_CQb3LI&t=0s&ab_channel=HenrikSwanstr%C3%B6m

As I mentioned to you earlier, I was running a corrupt on my shield for Determination. This opened up a socket slot which I used for Enduring Cry throughout my league start.

Numlocking Convocation is necessary for AFK blights to reset minion aggro.
When I didn't use numlock on Convocation I failed some maps prior to that because sometimes, all minions were just stuck in a cluster clearing one lane.
Then mobs started coming from a different lane and my minions wouldn't leave the first lane.

By numlocking convocation you make sure that don't happen since it resets their aggro and they run to the closest enemy which is what you want.
The most important thing of your minions is to bodyblock blight bosses so they stand still for the Meteor towers to hit them. The anoints I run on my rings makes it so a Meteor tower literally 2shots juiced blight bosses which is kinda stupid. The 15 ex helm I'm using isn't even necessary to afk blights.
I'm pretty sure you can do with a 100 chaos helm and bring the build cost down to like 10 ex.

It's hard to see, but if you look carefully it's actually the meteor towers that are carrying.
I am trying to refresh the character from before 2 leagues to know what I will play in the new one. But there is one problem that puts me off very much from your work: how did you get to level 100 with a paper build like this when I get frustrated with 97?
