Game Balance in Path of Exile: Ultimatum

YES! Thank you for addressing the spell bow shenanigans. I could not stand the fact people were using bows and quivers as a spell caster. It made no sense from a fantasy standpoint. I like to stick to specific themes and the game should be that way too. Good job guys!

Oh my God. Swinging a piece of wood around that is curved instead of straight to summon lightning is heresy ... OK "muh immersion" dude.

I really think the nerfs are great, and that's my personnal opinion.

When you think about it, PoE2 seems to be really based off a slower and harder pace. Makes you feel like you actually need skills to kill enemies instead of a "ONE-HIT 25M DPS ULTRA-TANK 75% BLOCK" build.

I think slowly building us to appreciate a slower pace of the game without affecting too much the "core" of what PoE is is the best way to introduce PoE2 mechanics and pace in our brains.

Problem with this is, they nerf the powercreep, but not changeing the rewards system. You still need to kill millions of monsters to get some currency, only now it takes much more time.
I get why you have to nerf, but it always sucks.
Every time I finish a league and decide on the next one looking at people on youtube, researching builds to find the one to finally carry me to these OP levels - you crush my dreams. I've played over a 1000 hours now and I've yet to reach OP levels. Thats my only dream in this game, to just absolutely vaporise everything and carry 100 mirror tier stuff. But this will never happen and is always inching further away. It's gotten so far now that there is no hope in sight it will ever happen.

Ritual league I played a Carrion Golem build, which was just nerfed beforehand, mind you.
For the first time I could clear decent maps and some bosses (still nothing even remotely close to what some people do on the first day). It felt like I had some power and it was interesting for me and i enjoyed playing.

I don't understand how you could nerf this honestly. I mean if we're going by the regular player here, I am that guy. I dont even care about minion builds tbh, but still. I honestly have no idea what to play now, everything that seemed worth investing time into got nerfed. lmao. Every single god damn time.
nice changes.
Where are the rest of HH nerfs!?
I thought, nothing could be worse than heist. OOOoh, how wrong I was. :D
Somehow I can't find the reason why play this season :(
Path of nerfs, nerfed every fav build i had. Won't be buying any more supporter packs.

Everything that I was doing as a casual player to make exalts in this game by playing meta has been nerfed.

I think it's time to find a new game, I just can't seem to master this one because it changes too much.
so ur leaving a game because u can't make a lot of money anymore? alright then maybe u like torchlight 3!

some people don't even try to get challenges lol i have all the mtx i need so why should i go for challenges in stead having fun playing my way?

and good for you that ur richer big whoop? i bet i have more fun trying out fun stuff instead only playing meta builds u probably didn't even make your self.

also i stop caring about exp after like level 85 x'D and yes i have low life so what? maybe i don't care/need as much as you? could probably get level 96/98 if i would only play one toon the whole league and not having fun because of it becoming boring to me. also could be a lot richer if i didn't hate trading to much and yeah if i was poor like you irl i might go for more challenges to get em free crappy mtx x'D weird flex dude but whatever strokes ur ego right?

Then satanttin, why are you attacking the way I liked to play?
