Content Update 3.14.0 -- Path of Exile: Ultimatum

Dis I like
Very POG imo

A lot of the really endgame "duping" gone
a lot of great fixes
allies cannot die finally gone
headhunter character size fixed

Sounds pog for the casual / normal solo players, but will probably be a bit scuffed for endgame+++ groups / crafters

Why do people complain? You don't want to play, go find another game. No one is making you play PoE. People crying because their Blade blast can't do 100m dps with magic wands anymore.

i mean you can always get 21/23 vaal skill from that div card and you can still doubt corrupt vaal skills to get 21/23 nothing changed here except for the excess supply of normal vaal skills. now doing vaal side areas will be more profitable.

You can't corrupt or double corrupt a Vaal skill gem. It's already corrupted. That's what makes it vaal dummy

Since you seem new, I'll explain what he means, you can corrupt/double corrupt a normal gem that has a Vaal counterpart which can result in it turning into a 21/23 Vaal Gem.

EXAMPLE: You have a 20/20 Summon Skeletons gem, you go to temple for double corrupt you have a chance that this turns it into a 21/23 Vaal Summon Skeletons with a good RNG roll. This can also apply to alternate quality gems.

ie. 20/20 Phantasmal Summon Skeletons can be double corrupted and result in a 21/23 Vaal Phantasmal Summon Skeletons

Before you call people dummies, know what you're talking about. At the current moment you, are the dummy.

Clearly you've never actually done this before but assuming on how double corrupting works, since it's not possible at all. Probably shouldn't call others out if you're not 100% positive on something, because it just makes you look bad, like in this case.

Foremost: i like the changes and iam excited to the league, BUT and here comes the BUT:
When the "endgame+++ groups" get hit like that, the "normal" players will feel that. I was kinda happy to buy scarabs for under 1C tbh xD well see how it plays out.
This is just war against the 1%. i wonder when u start to think about the rest of the players with limited time....oh yes ,they can rmt :))
I'm getting really tired of this "let's go to poe.ninja and nerf what's most used and forget about buffing anything else and giving an actually decent alternative to the meta" approach. It's lazy.

Harvest WAS way to deterministic, but people saying "everyone got to craft" are clearly not the ones crafting, you still need knowledge, you still needed currency and you still needed time to actually complete those crafts.
The reason harvest was popular because nobody and I say nobody wants to GAMBLE when actually trying to create an item, gambling should be reserved for the highest tiers of items (Vaal orb implicits, double corruption implicits, elaveted mods) not for T1 resists. And 90% of the issue of Harvest was craft pooling, why? because GGG forgot to implement any half decent way to trade crafts so we the community have to fix that for them.

I'm not going to quit the game, I will probably play the next league and the one after that but for the love of god rethink your crafting methodology it's outdated and pure gambling. Anyone reaching end game is hiding 99% of your drop pool, and anyone dropping exalts sure isn't gonna be slamming them but just trading them for items they want. Exalts have no other purpose anymore, it's basically become "gold" because nobody is gonna use them for what they are meant (except maybe 0.00001% players).

It's time to seriously consider your approach to game balance and archaic systems that are in place. Some of these changes are good but some are just borderline out of touch.

This is what I don’t get every single time. You don’t just “bring things in line” you hit them hard.
Blade Blast based damage reduced by 25%
Blade Vorted duration nerfed by 20% radius by 50% damage by 20%
Flesh and stone 40% increase in cost
Exposures 40% nerf
Those are not small changes.

That's just the tip of things.

That is a way to entice / force players to try new archetypes, including new skills.
This time some weird low-life and phys-based Vaal / Vampire / Blood themed shenanigans.
Looks like people are prone to get killed ,more frequently, by dots from staggared hits or not understanding how the damage taken mechanic works.

SSFHC will be fun to watch indeed.
