Ambush

Ambush is great when it works.

But when essence doesn't die.
When you miss.
When soul eater hits you million times per second.
...
When ambush doesn't work it leaves awful feeling of using it.

it needs some defense tacked onto like fortify buff

I think the skill has cool potential, but it needs tuning so it isn’t just a teleport that awkwardly waits to hit. More support options or tweaks to how it interacts with strike skills could make it fun instead of frustrating
