Hey Jube welcome to poe! Love finding new players.

Many times getting stuck while leveling tends to boils down to a few possibilities:

-Not enough life or energy shield to stay alive
-Not enough damage to kill enemies before they kill you

In both cases improving your gear is probably the solution.

Unfortunately without being able to see your build i cant be much more specific. There is a tool we all use to share info about our characters we call "PoB". Find it here

I feel it should be mentioned that this particular build may pose a significant challenge for those without much poe experience behind them because it does take a lot of money to make it really great and some of the mechanics arent as intuitive as other builds.

Which isnt to dissuade you from playing this, just maybe to help you not feel frustrated if it begins to feel like there is too much to learn at once. Poe is very much all about the process of struggling and learning and growing.

This profile tab has been set to private, or you lack the permissions to view it.

Your profile is still private. So can't see your build or pull it on PoB. If you do change items or your tree, it usually only take a couple minutes to resync to pull the PoB.
Click on your account name at the top left, Edit privacy settings, uncheck Set profile as private, then save.

It is possible to go Flicker sooner if you have the gear capable of doing so. Keeping charges up and Flicker going.

Level 62. Still in story mode.
You'll have to get through the story mode and switch to this guide when you are higher level and have the currency. Not something you can just jump into. Unless you have the currency needed. Generally the leveling sections are just quick tips of the build creators preference and how they did it. Personally I've found the leveling sections of build guide don't work for my play style or are just outdated. I leveled another route and then converted to this build. Normally early on you start as a life build. Then transition to ES when you can get ES gear and hit the nodes on the tree. In my personal experience the 1300/600 is very low.

From what I can see you have a handful of passives that aren't doing you much good. They would help you out a lot more in other places like Fire Damage, Life and Resistances. Currently your resistances are -12/-56/-22 without Purity of Elements. Thread of Hope is hurting you for -13% all resistance. Not giving any benefit. Energy Shield nodes are for later when you become the high ES build. Attribute nodes aren't helping you much this early either.

Shade of Solaris does not deal Critical Strikes. So any Critical Strike Chance and Multiplier nodes do nothing for you until you switch out of them.

If the build is stuck, Armageddon Brand just might not be your play style. I'd suggest going to Cyclone. Stack up your life and resistance. Hit some life/mana leech nodes on the tree and level that way until you can upgrade your gear. I suggest this because you already took the nodes. You'd be wasting less Regret Orbs later.

You also took the wrong first 2 Ascendancies as they also don't work for you right now. Opportunistic and Mistwalker are the ones you wanted.

You also have 3 - 4L open you can utilize. Throw in a Cast when Damage Taken with a Molten Shell this will give you an automatic shield when hit. Be sure not to over level Cast When Damage Taken and keep the level requirement of Molten Shell under what the CWDT says. If you go over it won't be automatic. You can also put Molten Shell on Left Click. Also add Mark on Hit + Assassin's Mark. This will get you life/mana back on kill. Another boost would be adding auras. Defiance Banner, Determination, Discipline. You need to hit the reservation nodes so you can run more auras. Which is why it's important to get your resistances up. Level the others on your offhand.

Grab a Goldrim (should be huge for you right now), Carnage Heart, Le Heup of All, Widowmaker, Lycosidae or Light of Lunaris, Thief's Torment and Oskram. Get your critical strike chance up. Just run Cyclone/Ice Nova/Frostbolt CoC. Cospri's.

If you're on later, I could help you with some gear. It should be able to help you finish out story mode easy. Then upgrade from there. But without the investment for the build, it's a long road. It's long enough with the currency.

Item colors, you can change colors around easily. Extensive game with a lot of stuff and ways to get things done.

That is correct in a way. Poe is very much about the strategy involved in how to make ur char stop dying.

For now pay particular attention to your fire/cold/light resists. If you get all of those to 75%, you should notice a real difference.

We dont especially need damage or cooldown recovery on vortex. Its main purpose is to apply chill to enable other mechanics like cospris crit effect vs chilled enemies. Probably best to got for a 21/20 default vortex
