6: the real issue of self casting is the abimation lock and the fact that you have to stand in place and cast with no defensive like fortify that melee gets despite melee being in same place for less than casters .

instead of making useless buff of 60% more damage to basically all spells even ones who didnt really need it.. you should;ve and could;ve cut by 20-35% the cast time of skills and reduce their mana cost..
and rework spell echo to not cause you to actually be locked in place for extra casts and maybe consider making spell echo like bow thingy that shot for you.. so spell casters could cast and walk for clear speed while keep their stand still gameplay at bosses..


all in all i give this expansion 3/10 and even these 3 are just for the new atlast passive tree..

I'm Exited about the new endgame and changes to Casting.

And a complete new skilltree for atlas. Whats not to like :)
releasing patch notes early is great...

but if you don't couple it with the updated API for people who work in POB, it's kinda pointless work you've done to release just the notes early, imho :)
If it says "+1 can no longer be rolled on influence amulets", do we actually mean that "+1 is no longer an influence-only mod"? The former would be kinda rough :/

Most of your gear will be made up of rares. Very much useful.

Play ssf or a private league. Problem solved.

The atlas passive tree is one such source for "natural juice".

My mistake, forgot about the updated wording on Supreme Ego. Back when it DID say 50% more mana reservation, that penalty effected all forms of reservation.

I believe you are wrong about Mortal Conviction though, when it says "You can only have 1 non-banner aura on you" that is entirely separate from reservations. Perhaps you were personally using a pseudo-aura that did not count (skitterbots, banner etc) linked to life, which had no interaction with Mortal Conviction in the first place.

I guess it's POSSIBLE that the new blessing will allow life reservation of auras, but I still highly doubt it.



The wording explicitly states that it's only for mana-reservation.
Your previous argument that lifecost is just manacost with some kind of conversion at the end is wrong.
You can see that manacost reduction doesn't apply to lifecost, even if the skill originally cost mana.

Anyway, arguing won't get us anywhere without a statement from GGG.
well to be fair to skills like freezing pulse its more of a nerf than a buff, whats up with removing the threshold jewls? they needed a buff not a nerf....
well i guess ill be playing PConc this league
What about other item granted skills? Whispering ice got buffed what about Blood Sacrament etc? D be nice to see them being buffed as well.
