Any reason to only increase it to 20 seconds? I don't see why you couldn't just leave people invulnerable until they take an action after changing zones. I guess there is a small potential to abuse thorns, but you could just negate thorns damage until the invulnerability ends.

That is simply a matter of design.

If a solution is exploitable, you don't necessarily forget the solution, you adjust it so it isn't exploitable.

Because coding in a longer grace period is soooo hard, if he wanted to do it he would of. It is a response to his death to cater to their advertisers.

Can't you at last change it to: Cannot be killed so they take damage? This is heavily exploitable.

any measure to prevent deaths that are not the result of lack of actual in-game skill but rather the result of a technical fault of the game is welcome, even if it just so happens to follow some streaming guy's death.

This isnt a solution to the original problem, its an ineffective bandaid, and its almost a year late.

I hope the habit of putting major issues off for months at a time then randomly applying some half-baked fix comes to an end, and the sooner the better.

I made a thread considering this change.


Please abuse this to the fullest. Use fillers to kill bosses with this immortality, such as Piety Vaal in merciless with level 35 fillers. This should make it into the 10.6 patch.


I highly doubt that it was an idea "for a long time".

My idea is that somebody knowing about this exploit intrigued a dev to do this change.
