[3.25] Ice Dancing Queen - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything
" Expedition has been my favorite mechanic since it was added in 3.15. My bro Tujen always hooks me up with all sorts of currency for mapping. NGL, if not for all the drama on reddit, I wouldn't have noticed that anything changed in the loot. I don't over-juice maps. Alch and go, chisels on T16 only, scour if it's something bad. And with Expedition you'll never be out of alchs, chisels, scours, regrets, chances, and chaos orbs. My other things in the past have been Harvest and Harbingers. But those have been butchered in 3.19. I specced into the Betrayal +1 rank for the Hillock quality, Tora gem xp and It breachstones. But that's just a side hobby. I'm running my maps with the blue influence and specced the Eater nodes. Its spawn generally more mobs than the red influence, drop more currency, and the altar mods are much easier for this kind of a build. Of course, you must take all Shaping the NNN nodes for map sustain. Fortune Favors the Brave gives some nice bonuses that way. Any alched T16 map will easily return more than the 3c spent on that mod.
" If you want to farm Alva, you have to spec into the Atlas nodes that make it easier. Otherwise it's not very good with the Trickster. Occultist is the version with AoE explosions that makes Alva trivial.
" What 5k ES/sec regen? I don't see even ZO on your character. Do you mean recharge? You have to be out of combat for 2 sec for that to happen. GR is amazing. Especially with the overleech. I'm having zero problems with GR. I've actually tested a version with suppression-triggered recharge instead of overleech, and Wicked Ward. It's too unreliable without a heavy investment in suppression. Which would require sacrificing either a lot of damage or a lot of block. But it's just not worth it. Some mobs use spells, some just use attacks - and that whole thing never triggers. My Trickster is pretty much immortal with overleech and GR. But when I switched to the recharge I started dying occassionally. Switched back and became immortal again. The ONLY place where I refund GR is the Eater. I've done him with GR as well. But's safer to refund it, kill him and take it again. Last edited by Kelvynn on Aug 31, 2022, 12:21:01 AM

" Yeah, that flask can serve as a heal if you are doing something that makes you uncomfortable with GR.
" Helmets are still easy enough. Can roll it with Spite essences until you hit a decent ES. Or just buy one ilvl 75-79 with an open suffix. Don't even need resists in this league, with all the crazy rings. I just bought one with decent ES and slammed it with a Hunter exalt that Baran dropped for me.
" Of course! There is always something to leech from in Heists. GR is amazing. It literally doubles your leech. And with overleech it keeps healing you for 5 seconds after you stopped actually leeching. Try it. You are not in HC.
New video: Endgame Boss Farm
I've done a few upgrades from the basic chaos-only week 1 setup. Got the clusters with CttC+BS, a 1-mod Megalo, an Eye with 3 OK mods - which is cheap without ES gain on hit. Trickster is so tanky he doesn't really need ES on hit. Got more Int on the amulet. Hunter slammed a decent helmet (only got T2). Crusader slammed a decent chest - no luck, but es on kill is OP for mapping. Crafted a slightly better belt and got slightly better gloves. And finally got resists in the proper order for The Wise Oak - thanks to the randomly sniped mirrored rings on the market. ACwC takes care of the stun issue for mapping. And for the bosses I can craft stun avoidance on the gloves and helmet instead of the resists (when I upgrade my current jewels). That solution may not work after this league, but you never know what will happen in the next one anyway. I've spent about 10 divines so far. And I have more saved for the next upgrades. My main farm is the guardian invitations. All Atlas nodes that give a chance to drop guardian/slayer/synth maps. And once I have a full set I run them and do the uber invitation (Height of Hubris + Captivated Interest). That results in even more fragments and maps, and 8-10 Maven frags. The Maven is completely trivial at this stage. I just stand in the middle and namelock her. Trickster doesn't give a crap about the degen ground. Between the Maven dropping random awakened gems and the Elder (and Uber Elder when I get a set for him) dropping random Eyes - the currency is coming along very nicely. This is what I wanna do all day. I've tried other builds, but it's the only way :) Last edited by Kelvynn on Aug 31, 2022, 1:43:44 AM

" Seems a bit lacking still for Uber Eater. The flask does not refill fast enough even with the pantheon and the amount is too little. Uber Sirius is quite a pain. He teleports away before the damage ramps up. I'll try without GR and see how it goes. Last edited by essenze on Aug 31, 2022, 1:41:39 AM

Recharge, not regen. My bad.
All I can say is, GR and I don't get along. I'll definitely try it again though. Thanks for your strong recommendation for GR. --------------- By the way, does anyone know how the Inc/red figure is calculated in the PoB Skill Hit Damage box in the Calcs section? I have 12.48 there, but I have: 3% per 100 from gloves = 78% 1% per 10 from staff = 265% That adds up to 3.43. Where is the 9.05 extra coming from? I have 2652 int, if that helps. (Note this Inc/red figure is independent of the cluster jewels etc -- that's handled in the Total Increased and Total More sections just above.) I suspect I am doing something wrong SOMEWHERE because Kelvynn's Inc/red is 7% higher than mine, even though I have 100+ more int than he does. I noted that a +10 int change in the tree changes mine from 12.48 to 12.52. Huh? What am I missing? Thanks in advance. Last edited by Graiaule on Aug 31, 2022, 2:43:23 AM

Uber Sirus/Blue etc meh, so much teleportation (and lazy design -70% dmg to them lol) |
